I don't watch it anymore
Absolutely 💯
I thought this was about Micheal Dunlop. Rossi got nothing on him. Very misleading title
1998 I had a 1991 750 Gixxser at Ohio 2 day track school the instructor tapped me on shoulder on the track second day had me follow him back around the track many laps then back in the pit he asked me how long I have been riding I said I have 4,000 miles of experience he said that is all did you ever think about racing you have natural talent. At the time I was 38 did not have money but if I did I would've turned pro driver when I was young..Cars were my thing really not bikes.Still riding at 60 but selling bike to many idiots on the road.Need autonomous cars out and fast people no longer know how to drive.Musk will in 3 months time
When you move from the strongest team to the weakest team next season and still win the moto gp, you deserved to be called The G.O.A.T
yeah that was fantastic the likes of which will never be seen again legend
The greatest of all time
Toprak did the same this year :)
And to the people saying MM93 is the goat clearly don't know who is VR46 on the Motogp World. M marquez left honda now cuz he can't win anymore on his fav bike. He can't develop that is why he joined ducati who is so strong rn.
@@ercanyesiltas Toprak is not even MotoGP.
There are lot of famous MotoGp Riders... But Rossi Made MotoGp Famous.. His fans and the people he inspired is so huge.
"booing inspire"
Yes, he Inspired but then disappointed…
@@ajayjayakumar1258 moto gp hierarchy begged him to keep racing despite not winning a championship since 2009 to sell seats and t shirts, retired about 5yrs too late
I'm on "Marquez side" in 2015 but huge Rossi fan if that make sense ;)
Valentino has done some mistakes at the end of that season but at the same time you have to give him some credit. He was very close to beat Lorenzo and Marquez in their prime while he was 36 years old, not bad ;)
I still believe Rossi is the greatest, with some controversial points like Senna and other motorsport legends of the past.
Over rated rat boy
the G.O.A.T, The reason so many of us starting watching MOTO GP.
Also the reason so many of us stopped, sadly due to his retirement
Lies again? Gangbang Of America Train Vigrx
Personally I would say Agostini was the G.O.A.T. after all he has raced and won at the TT several times.

Don't watch now. He's not there😅

He was a cheat and a very bitter person

This was enough to make a grown man down in tears
We most likely wouldn't have Yamahas if it weren't for Rossi. He basically saved their motorcycle market single handedly. That would be a sad world.
Bullshit.
@@rapid13 not sure how yamaha was doing in dirt bike at the time, but they were on the bottom end of everything moto gp at the time, it was an actual question of wtf was rossi doing when he switched over, so not completely saying he saved yamaha, but definitely kept them relevant during a down period
@@rocketvanpersie163 Again, bullshit.
Lawson won 84, 86, 88
Rainey won 90-92
Then we got the Doohan years, 94-98, hard times for everyone not named Doohan
Rossi in 2004 in only the third season for MotoGP.
In 2002 Yamaha fielded Biaggi, Checa, Jacque, Nakano, Abe, Guintoli, Cardoso, McCoy, JM Baylor, Hoffman, and Hopper. Biaggi finished 2nd on the season and Yamaha went 2,5,6,10,11.
In 2003 we added Aprilia (for real, not just a test rider), Ducati, Kawasaki (for real, not just a test rider), a much larger Suzuki team, while Yamaha scaled way back but still fielded Checa, Barros, Melandri, Abe, Jacque, and Nakano. Honda had EIGHT riders in the field of 18 who competed all season. And Checa still managed to finish 7th.
Yamaha wasn’t hurting at all.
More than winning the most, it is about the person he is and what he represents for the sport. No other rider glued the audienced to the screen like Vale did. Even in last place he still looked gracefull. Diferent quality. Started watching MotoGP when I was 6 years old, with that yellow camel Yamaha... even not winning the championship that bike will forever be my favorite as it was the one with that nº46 that made me fall in love with MotoGP
Rossi transcended the sport. Amazing memories of him winning those early titles. A true legend.

Rossi is truly the best example of a GOAT! He will always be missed on the track, but never forgotten.
Howd Rossi handle that 2005/6/7 Ducati again?
@disvert9355 how many world titles does he have again?
@@deltapk3 lol, even i could ride it with all those electronics.
@disvert9355 great dude, looking forward to seeing you in MotoGP or SBK 👍🏻
It was such a sad when he retired i lived my early adulthood watching Rossi. Hes the reason i got a yamaha r6. Those will always be the golden years of motogp for me
Giacomo Agostini, King Kenny Roberts, Eddie Lawson, Freddy Spencer, Wayne Rainey, Kevin schwantz, Michael Doohan, Wayne Gardner, Barry Sheen, Randy Momola and many other great names in motorcycle road racing history built the foundation for the current day MotoGP road racer all on 2-stroke motorcycles. Motorcycles that never had current day electronic rider aids. Freddie Spencer won the 250 cc and 500 cc World Championships in the same year 1985. No other man has achieved this accomplishment and never will since competing in both 250 cc and 500 cc classes in a single season has been band. Nothing can compare to the golden years of motorcycle road racing in the 1980s and the early 1990s. These men carried the torch for many of the road racing greats today and will always be remembered in the annals of road racing history never to be forgotten.
Anyone of these guys would have been more than a match for Rossi. The GOAT conversation is one where no one watched the sport when real men rode those peaky monsters. Rossi was lucky to ride in an era when there were little to no competition on his level. Most of those legends you mentioned all rode in the same era. Talk about an embarrassment of riches! He spent a lot of years at the end of his career that were not impressive at all. During that era Marc Marquez was far more electrifying while Rossi languished outside of the points.
Agreed. It’s like a generation has been totally ignored. Rossi isn’t the goat. Even Casey Stoner got under his skin.
@@darrenbolger1521 in the 2010s after his run he couldn’t beat 💩. Stoner won’t be in anyone’s conversation as you point out and Rossi was useless against him. The greats are generational not one good run against nobody. Max Biaggi? Come on.
Rossi is the face os MotoGP for so, so many years. Period.
Personally, he is possibly 70% of the reasons why I watch MotoGP.
A true legend of the sport ❤
*show me that in the social media era everyone discusses on everything* ➡️ People discussing on Valentino Rossi's GOAT status
True
I'm a basketball guy, but I am a huge fan of Valentino. He transcended his sport. Only the truly great ones do this.
Rossi made the sport famous , like even people who dont watch MotoGP knows the doctor
1997 was the year I found rossi never left

I don't even watch motogp , but when asked what you know about motogp, without a second breath I can say the
name Valentino rossi , its in the tip of my tongue like idk how or what he did , he became a household name , even for a 21 Yr old boy from a small village in India like me ....
Rossi and Mick Doohan was a joy to watch, each in their own period
His impact on the sport is evident, his legacy exceptional. Thats the line for all of you.
Grazie VR46. So thankful to be alive in your era. You are the reason why i love riding motorcycle. Your era is the best motogp for me. You will always be my GOAT Vale 💪🏼
VR 46 is my hero ❤❤❤ now I love motorcycle specialty yamaha 👍👍👍
And that's why he's the GOAT. The GOAT 🐐.
I remember when i first started seeing motogp ,i was astonished by his aura. I just see '"The Doctor" and thats it. That blue yamaha ...uffff..❤
So many stories untold in this short piece. They measured Rossi's heart beat. His heart rate remained low. Almost as if he was just walking. Cold stone killer on the track. COLD BLOODED. He could be dirty at times. Like Laguna Seca where he went off track through the corkscrew into the dirt to get a slight advantage on the Aussie, Casey Stoner. One of the things that led to his downgraded performance was when he injured his lower leg while racing in an off track dirt bike race. He was a brilliant rider, fearless, and very very aggressive. All of these young riders nowadays would tell you the same thing...they watched every move he made as they grew up. He mentored thousands of future MotoGP and Supersport racers.
Valentino Rossi is the reason I started watching MotoGP, seeing him on TV for the first time all the way back in 2003/2004 or so when I was 3/4 years old and watching with my dad. I was 21 the year he retired and best believe I nearly balled my eyes out during that last parade lap in Valencia 2021, tears were shed that day and had to give my mum a big hug too ❤💯
The goat we never dies #46
The 125 and then the Formula 2 250 CC two- Strokes are such pure race machines. They really show who is fast. And when I first saw Rossi racing in the 90s as a teenager, I saw that his style was so nice - there's a future champion.
I watched MotoGP at the right time. My Ex 2009-12 even bought me a Valentino Rossi mug.
Balls are what makes a GOAT
Lost interest when Rossi retired but the last year or two is full of talent and enjoy watching again
Indeed, Rossi is the GOAT! I watched him all the time in Italy and he was just the best.
He was a cheeky little bugger that grew up to be the most charismatic motorcycle racer ever, not forgetting a very savvy entrepeneur
Guy changed my life for the better. Forza Vale.
Hard to argue against Agostini. The guy raced in so many different classes and categories, winning everything, including the Isle of Man TT, which he raced several times, plus the statistics give him a significant edge over Rossi. Regardless, it is all about subjective opinion. Some people think Marquez is the greatest, others that Rossi is. What matters is the future, and the future of MotoGP racing is more promising than ever.
That first race on a Yamaha was the greatest race ever ran! The shear will, to win that race was never seen before or since. Watching that race , well, it was almost religious.
Rossi will always be close to heart of motor cycling riders. Love ❤️ from India 🇮🇳
The only reason got me into motorcycle hobby is this person, hero from my childhood, VR | 46
The best the world ever produced💯
The GOAT is still racing and winning on 4 wheels!
My vote is for the Dunlop Family!!! RIP Joey & Robert!

Grew up watching him. Rossi fan forever
I've never riden a bike in my life and i don't plan on doing so but this guy made me love motorbike racing
I used to watch Moto gp because of him while he didn't have any outstanding performances everyone just loved him including me.. well long after his retirement i stopped watching MotoGP the distant memory of his races still reminds me of his Glorious ride and to be able to compete at that age is marvellous and everyone.. everything that goes up must come down
Will always be my favorite rider always wanted to be like him rossi the goat
the older MotoGP bikes were so beautiful. the things now are ugly...
Basically, I'm grow up watch him racing. 26 season. Been that long eh. Worth it..😂😂😂
I started watching vale when I got motogp by thq for the original Xbox. aAter you win the race it would show the highlights from that tracks real race and almost every race it was a guy on a yellow nsr winning I’ve been a fan ever since but took a 7 year break between 2002 and 2009. When I returned I was shocked to find Rossi still racing and still champion. Amazing.

Isle of Man TT riders are more crazy. Rossi himself has said this. This video should be about Michael Dunlop
Simply the best, his like will never be seen again, thank you for those memories valentino 46
Long live the GOAT!!!
Rossi is undoubtedly one of the greatest motorcycle racers of all time - but anyone that thinks so has never seen the late great Mike Hailwood race in the 60s and when he came out of retirement in 1978, after a ten year lay off, to win again against the best in the world. Having watched road racers since 1964 and seen all the best riders for the past 60 years, I'd say Rossi is definitely in the top five, along with Kenny Roberts, Agostini and Surtees - but topping them all comfortably would be Mike Hailwood. He set a lap record at the Isle of Man that lasted ten years. He also came out of retirement and rode a two-stroke-four cylinder 500cc with disc brakes and slick tyres - all things that hadn't existed when he'd last raced and beat all the young guys at the Isle of Man and again a week later at the short circuits.
Absolutely the best ever
I miss these days. Never truly realized how great of an era this was for two wheeled sports. Rossi, the great in road racing, Evarts the great EuroMX and RC the great in AmericanMX.
Was magnificent, a born racer!
Mad Max deserves to be mentioned.
VR46 - The Doctor ❤❤
Then in 2023 his first time at Le Mans, in a GT car, he won....again. Just that alone makes you legendary.

GOAT
Rossi hasn't quite hung up his leathers yet he currently races in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the GT World Challenge Europe (GTWCE). He's no longer a curiosity in GT3 road racing. He's gaining respect and becoming a force. It's a different kind of excitement from MotoGP, but I still enjoy watching him and his team compete on the track.
Im glad ive grown up asaid his Carrier sinths 1993 ! He is and always will be the Goat ! Like Micheal Schuhmacher in F1 !

(Edit) wasn't it because they couldn't afford car racing they he became a motorcycle racer?
Without the guidance and support of parents you cannot achieve greatness...
Great great video
One of the best
In indonesia and in my place, we call motogp as “motor rossi” cause he really famous in here hehe
The absolute greatest of all times!
Giacomo Agostini is the GOAT, 15 times world champion and when the isle of man was one of the rounds. Rossi went to the island and it scared him to death, he would never have raced there.
Ago is the number one, head and shoulders above Rossi.
@@Azzlad whole different level of brave
Evidently, people have also forgotten about Mick Doohan. I'm not taking anything away from Mr. Rossi, but making a statement about someone being the GOAT is kinda ballsy.
@jjparker96 some people think that they know everything about MOTO GP and they have only been watching for a couple of years. Bring back the 500s and take all the electrical stuff off and let's see who the real men are. Like Dale said, if going 200 mph scares you you shouldn't be in the racecar.
Obviously......These fools dont know anything about bikes, damn noob ignorants
