Ive been learning scenes from an italian resturaunt and i will say, that little solo there, although only being 4 measures, is ridiculously difficult from a technical aspect. The speed and clarity that you have to play it with makes it incedibly impressive to pull off
Kirsty, there is a guy on TH-cam named Steve Lungren... or his handle is BillyJoel7... he has in depth tutorials on every Billy Joel Song written and more...the guys is great...just set up your laptop at your keyboard and you'll be playing all these tunes in no time!

I'm not so sure. I've seen a lot of great piano playing friends of mine not fare too well with that game. The notes and chords aren't the same as if you were playing a real piano. Tip of the hat to a fellow Rock Bandit though.
i want to start learning how to play the piano. i'm going to be buying a keyboard just because of space and what not. any recommendations on how many keys i should get? should i get a full sized 88 key keyboard? i would love to learn billy joel so. how many keys are on the piano you're playing in this video? wonderful playing by the way. i hope to play like you someday.
Thanks man! This is an 88-key keyboard. That's what I really like, but if you're just starting out you technically won't need all 88. On the other hand, if it's something you think you'll stick with long-term you will eventually want all 88. Best thing you can do is go to a Guitar Center or something to try out all the different keyboards because you really need to like how the keys feel.

Plan on spending a lot of time practicing,to be real good takes a considerable amount of time and effort,years,but it’s a lot of fun learning.
