I very recently got really into Billy Joel (and, before that, I'd only ever heard a few of his songs) so I was really excited when I saw this video. This was so epic and beautiful! Have you heard or, at least, seen it? If not, I highly recommend it. I much prefer BJ's version, but theirs is still good. It's not a parody. They, actually, sang the same song but with updated verses that pick up where Billy Joel left off, mentioning things, people, and events in the world from 1989-2023. That's what I love about it. That someone thought to continue the song to update it as the years passed. I just think that's so cool, fun, and smart! I've yet to hear any true parodies of the song.
If this is truly a new recorded audio version, then I'm stunned. I synced it up with your "Ultimate Billy Joel Medley" from 6 years ago. The tempo and cutoffs are EXACT. Whether it is only a new video or completely new, it is a phenomenal rendition and I'm thrilled to revisit it. Your medleys are always fantastic and I love listening to them with my daughter. We both appreciate the talent and subtle nuances of the performances (let alone the dancing). Thank you for sharing them!

@@catbees It's the same recording. It's a REMASTER, as he says in the title. That means it is a remix - he re-EQ'd, and maybe changed the volume of some tracks, etc.
Great medley!!...Loved how you went from one to the other so smoothly. My only complaint was not hearing all 19 sung in completion because I didn't want any of them to endl!! Love them all! ❤

I wish we could have a little insite to the whole background process. The planning, writing, order of recording, etc. But I know it's already a lot that you do and probably some stuff you dont wish to share. Love your results every time!
