- 'New' restoration of a Corgi Toys Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, showing strip down, paint and re-assembly.
This is officially my first 'new' restoration for this channel due to the other videos published prior to this video as being old videos that were downloaded, edited and re published from my other channel. Please read channel description for further info.
I was hoping for a problem free 'new' video but unfortunately a short clip of removing the inner parts from the casting is missing and I had a mishap with one of the parts. Not one of my best restoration videos, but I hope you enjoy it anyway.
The Chevrolet Corvette is the second generation of the Corvette sports car, produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 1963 through 1967 model years.

Yep, this is where I left off.
Excellent, lots of great restorations to look at...🍻
Thanks for posting these!!
Good quality finished product, loved the colour choice! In line with the rarer colour for this model. Thanks for the video!
Many thanks for watching
Its a great colour choice. T.he Corvettes of the sixties and early seventies always looked good in the various metallic browns.
I think so too! Thanks for looking
Excellent restoration kev looks Beautiful nice to see some new videos looking forward to the next restoration take care 👍.
Thank you Adrian and for your continued support
Nice restoration. But i like the original colors.

Superb job mate,I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to your videos,I’ve watched them all and although I’ve not always agreed with your colour choices if I’m honest I still enjoy watching them, please continue with them mate
Thank you fo your honest and polite comment, hope you enjoy my future content.
It is a good idea to use the Jar Kev.
I don't really collect American stuff, but I remember the split-window Corvette from a 1:24 kit I had as a spotty schoolboy, but the Corgi Corvette was a great little casting. The dark Bronze is close to a factory colour, so it looks great: excellent choice, Sir. Splendid result! And a lot better than the Mercedes metallic red!
Thank you Fraser..
The rareish 'split window' C2 Corvette.I have a friend in the states, who has a real one,i'll get him to watch this, see what he thinks.I think the 'split window's' variant is a better car than the non split window, and as such they are rare.
