I don't want to sound harsh, but it would be great if you could do some of your narration while you are making/painting these models, this would make you sound more interesting in your speech patterns, and your enthusiasm for the subject will shine. The quality of your workmanship and video making is top notch and there is a lot of stuff to learn from your skills!

each to their own I guess but I must disagree. I like the fact he doesn't talk, the work literally speaks for itself, lots of videos out there with people talking their way minute by minute, and sometimes I will be entertained by that, maybe learn something, but sometimes it's nice [in my opinion] just to sit back and watch a genius at work.

Rich, it's good like that, mate! That's the reason I split my video builds in three episodes: not to mix up the ranting with the working. Cheers!

richw0123, agreed. This guy does amazing work, and it would be nice to hear him explain what he is doing, or why at times.
And if you just want to watch with no voice over... just turn down the volume.

He does usually about 7 videos on one model with detailed narration. This is just a sped up step by step so you don’t have to watch 2 hours of video

Amt makes great muscle car kits. Revell makes great hot rod truck kits I think and Tamiya makes the best exotic, sports and road racing cars but very expensive

Your level of detail is superb. I prefer WW2 air craft. I consider myself a master model maker installing lights and battery powered motors in my scale air craft . The paint job on your vette is brilliant. You've been doing this awhile, it shows. Keep up the good work and thanks for the video.

I agree with those who request narration. What was the purpose of the marker lines? I saw the Dremel but not sure why you marked the corners. Fantastic techniques and procedures that taught me a lot so thank you very much!

Snap kits should be glued, lotta folks think snap is cheap it's just molded different so new people can build it without too much fuss.. Glue it up, scratch build some better details and shoot it with good paint and no one would ever know.

One detail overlooked on these C2 corvettes and most model cars in general.....when doing the "chrome" trim around the windshield and back glass, it should only cover the top.....the rest is the seal and should be black. It really stands out when done like this...and looks correct. I've built a number of these cars in 1 to 1 real life scale but never a model of one....go figure. I need to do that! Well.....enough of my "two cents".....nice work!!

This is my mid-life crisis dream Corvette, though I've always pictured it in black. May have to rethink the color, though, if I ever gather enough money to purchase one.

Can anybody tell me the dimensions of a Monogram 1/24 scale 65 Corvette stingray?
I want to re-body an old Revell 1/24 scale slot car and the 1/25 Revell and AMT bodies are to small for the original drives compartment insert that has the screw posts for mounting the body to the slot car chassis.
The original Revell 1/24 body is about seven and a quarter inches long (not counting the bumper bars). And about three and one sixteenth inches wide at it's widest part near the front fenders.

That was fun-seeing a '63 C2 again. I thought that they had ceramic drum brakes (at least mine did) so this model was of an upgraded car with discs and aftermarket wheels and tires. Actually, mine was a convertible so I'm not sure about all the trim but I don't think the car was available with beige dash and interior but this model looks nice anyway. Sort of a hopped up Vette. Very nice. Revelle really missed one not putting in the engine.

On one hand, I applaud your effort to try and do an instructional video, of sorts, but without any narration or by speeding up the video, you're not really helping much! I am an experienced modeler (well over 50 years), but speaking from a beginner stand point, no newbie would get that much out of what you did here. I produce a line of videos for figure modeling and I record voice-overs for all of them. The idea is try and get more young people in the hobby. Providing a well planned out voice-over or real-time narration, you can aid the beginner in learning so much better.

Very nice build. Great Paint and detail.
I enjoy taking Snap Together Car Kits and adding more Detail. It's a good break from the more Detailed Cars that refuse to cooperate. (I don't know why) AMT's Piranha Super Spy Car comes to mind.
I don't usually do Corvettes, but I did build a four door Model Kit many years ago.
I managed to take a Revell '77 Monte Carlo Low Rider and mount it on Monogram '66 Malibu Chassis... With some mods to the Malibu's Chassis and I opened the Monte's hood.
I caught a little flack for my Revell 1/28 Spad XIII. Funny, it wasn't because I built it as a Backup to Snoopy's Sopwith Camel or that I Modified a Snoopy Figurine, the Plane and a Helmet from Revell's Deals Wheels, Flt. Lft. Riff Raff and his Spitsfire to fit Snoopy. Not one Military or Automotive Modeler complained. Nope. I got Bull-Ends for Flying it so close to my House and how I put my neighbors in Danger. Huh?
All I could do (At First) was Laugh. After I got up off the Floor, I had to reply. I assured the Concerned, no one was in any Danger as the Plane is 1/28 Scale and IF they had looked a little closer, they would've see the Pilot. Mind you, the Plane was NEVER Airborne. Not on Monofilament Line, Wire, or String. All of the Pictures were Stills. No Video.
The Pictures are still on Pinterest.

love doing these same type of builds using the snap kits, pick a cool color combo and a nice set of wheels with a little detailing and you would think it was a glue kit.Enjoying your videos and learning new things.
