- You asked for it, so here it is. A video tracking the B8 project, with several minutes of pure exhaust and turbo audio. This was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had with a car, so you can definitely count on seeing more in the future. Thanks to the Central Wisconsin Sports Car Club, CWSCC, for organizing this lapping day, and to USAIR in Shawano for allowing it to happen!
Special thanks as well to @ianmcdonell6158 for capturing all the moments for me, and providing the thumbnail image.

Picked up a S4 B8 and I’m taking it to my second ever track event next month! Very excited. Learned a lot from this channel and I’ll be modifying it later after the event for the handling, suspension, etc.
thanks for being the inspiration for my b8 build bro. helps alot to see someone do something as clean as this with one
track days are stupid fun. I have a mk6 golf R, that's been my track weapon, it's got all the suspension mods, brakes etc and it's more fun that should be legal, I just got an a4 b8 Avant and since I know I'm going to sell the R I am going to have to do something similar to my Avant. Good times!
Saving for another b8 rn! You’re an inspiration!
Man, that looked super fun. Turbo noises 👌
Love this video dude! I’m a bit late to the party on watching this one lol.
Out of curiosity, would increasing your negative camber help with the outer tire wear?
I have a b7 a4 im rebuilding right now im trying to make 600 horsepower your videos inspired me man thank you !
Amazing quality video man. Love all the noises too! This reminds me of my first track day experience with my B9 A4. It’s incredibly addicting and as you learned street tires absolutely can’t take the heat lol
Good story-telling.
Looks like a blast! Currently looking at doing Auto and Rally Cross with either our Mini or an A4.
Just realized i watched out build your other audi 😂
awesome vid chris! that car looked like a ton of fun out there even with the tire and understeer problems. and it makes all the cool noises 🐌
Love it! I can’t wait to do an HPDE event. Were those brand new tires??
Just about :/
Another great one. Thank you!!!!
First event I ever did was an HPDE at USAIR.
It’s like I’m you, just younger and less handsome
1:34 ~!! good job. 😁
gawd that exhaust sound sexy!!! What brand is it?
Absolutely love it man! Cant wait to see more, I cant wait to finish my rebuild and do the same here at Gingerman!
Gingerman is definitely a goal of mine
Great job man! It is possible for next driving videos to fix a camera on the pedalbox to film your footwork please? :)
Loved the quality of this vid, also made me want to get an A4 😂
Nice done👍classic music look like from NFS2000👍
Just curious where you able to install a BOV or you went with the stock diverter valve ?
It’s a gfb dv+
You should make a pov asmr street driving video with this thing lol
I’ve always said you have HPD energy
👍🏻👍🏻
nice car...
i have the same glasses
When we were leaving from the morning session we heard that 370Z go out and all I could think was thank god we’re leaving 🤣
Lolol and it looked clean too. Idk why he had to make it sound like diarrhea 😂
Hi Tom
Need an Sline wheel with paddles for the track, keep her in power band a little more around the turns without having to feather the throttle so much
My car is a manual. Paddles wouldn’t do much besides clutter up my steering wheel
those rims.. what are they?
Should I get coilovers
'promosm'
Go Kart track much....
Air suspension suckssssp
You're developing micro cracks in the body of the car with this sort of driving. And the stiffer suspension does not help but works exactly to exacerbate the condition.
A good move is to consider a cage, at least it will solidify he suspension seat points minimizing their motion.
