HOW I MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

Seeing the cooling 'temper colors' when the cast iron bits are removed is magical!
The dante's hell of smoldering sulfur on these spent dirty brass casings as they melt seems almost poetic.
I was thinking "man, anything that ashes yellow like that is some really bad stuff" but I like your verbiage. It sounds book smart.😅

Never ceases to amaze me what a beautiful piece of mirrored metal you get from the grungiest, dullest waste. The boys were certainly putting a hurting on that flip flop! Yeah mate, the fire was 2 km up the road so they blocked off all the highway as it was windy as hell and they were fighting pretty hard to put it out. They blocked the highway off for two days, but it’s all open now and there was a hell of a lot burnt , it got very close right up to the back fences on a lot of houses near the highway 😳. Anyway mate everyone is safe and sound so that’s the main thing . Have a great Christmas man.👊🏻🍻🍻

I have a suggestion for the next time you go and cook up a Ribeye. Put on a dry rub consisting of Cavendar's Greek seasoning (in the yellow container), McCormick mesquite seasoning, and dried onion flakes. Sprinkle each on all sides (a bit lighter on the onion flakes and heavier for the other two), then press that into your steak with your thumbs making sure to work it fully into the meat and especially the fat, then cook it to your liking. It has been the perfect combo of seasonings for me for years. Whatever your opinion of A-1 steak sauce, this doesn't need it at all. My recipe actually replaces it and is far better, in my opinion, than A-1. Enjoy!
