Federal Signal 508-128 & Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000BT | Full Alert | Moore, Oklahoma | 9/28/24

- At 12:00:07 the City of Moore conducted a weekly test of 44 sirens, and consisted of a 3 minute alert.
I was going to go to Highland East, but I heard Moore got 2 new sirens, so I decided to come to Parmele Park for a dual shot. Honestly, it wasn't as loud as I thought, but it was still pretty loud. There was a little bit of polling right at the end of the test, which I noticed as the sirens were shutting off. Also, sorry for the Thunderbolt shot being awful. I had to use my TCL phone, which has awful camera quality. Also there was a little bit of talking especially at the end because people were playing behind me.

The thunderbolt is the louder out of the two 👍👍👍
@@rossnolan2883 Yeah, but not by much. I think they're both about 129db at 100 feet, but I might've set up a tad closer to the Thunderbolt.

Oh I’m so happy someone got this right away! As soon as I saw the 508 was installed this close to the bolt I was hoping someone would get them together. Almost reminds me of the SD-10/2001 combo in Cushing.

@@will09666 Yeah. They did those new 508s so when the Thunderbolts become unrepairable, they already have the replacement ready. There's nothing wrong with over coverage, especially for it being one of the most tornado prone cities in the world.
They find gaps in their coverage every damn day
@@1000BT Yep. They did that so when fhe Thunderbolts become unrepairable, they already have a siren to replace it. There's another one on 4th and Eastern.
