Buck Thomas Park - Siren #5
Sirens heard:
#9 - MOD5020T at Moore High School
#23 - 1000T at Northmoor Elementary
#26 - 1000T at 12th and Eastern
#27 - 1000T at Moore High School
#38 - 508 at 12th and Bryant
Since this had a good recording spot, I went for it today and got a really cool ambiance to go along with it.
Fortunately my town uses 2t22 and 3t22s, our emergency management doesn't like the new electronic sirens, we recently had most of our sirens restored

Great video, loud as hell, they definitely have the Siren system set up, I went to nicoma park today for a quick Thunderbolt test, didn't go well

Well, this is at Buck Thomas Park. Moore High School is less than a mile away and there's another Mod and Thunderbolt within very close proximity there.

There are a lot of Modulators in Moore and also Thunderbolts with several different chopper levels. There are also two FS 508's and a few FS 2T22's.
There is no p-15 and sentry, there is only FS 508 and 1000T and Whelens???

If it is why can't we hear it more clearly?
I'm assuming because the Thunderbolt rotates, this will have constant coverage over the blind spots when the Thunderbolt isn't facing a certain direction.
Amazing ambiance, but what's the deal with the mod almost completely cancelled out by ambient sirens?
They overkill in coverage. But can you blame them? Moore is kind of the tornado capital of the country. And they all make for killer siren ambiance’s.
@@BellyJae, yes, Moore does have over 40 sirens. But, it's amazing to hear them every Saturday.

I lived there for 3 years and I still recognize that ambience
I’m on year 3 of living here and it’s pretty familiar now but it never gets old. When there’s so many and you hear it so often, weather interacts with what you hear so it can change slightly from week to week. And I just think that’s really cool. 😎
