At 12:00:07PM the City of Moore conducted a weekly test of 44 sirens on Saturday, November 9, 2024, and consisted of about a 3 minute alert.
So, I wanted to come to Southmoore High School for a dual distant shot since last time was a single distant shot. I wasn't too sure if they'd test because of the tornadoes last weekend and the heafty storm that hit last night, but it cleared up, so they tested. I have no idea what those tones were because it wasn't normal. I planned to set up closer to the one across the street from the school itself so the Oakridge one doesn't overpower it. Even though I set up about 400ish feet closer to the Southmoore one (the one on the left), the winds were blowing to the north and the Oakridge one is dual toned and to my south, so it overpowered it anyways. It sounded really cool though.
