I adore Nina Hagen! She has done everything from punk to rock to disco, EDM, Hindu chants, Big Band era, to now Christian themed music. She is singing German, which a lot of English comes from which is why you might have been confused.
The ending of this song still gives me chills, be it Till or Nina singing it.
"Now you stand there near the lantern
With tears in your face
You take away the fire from the candle
The time stand still and it becomes autumn
They only spoke about your mother
Only the night is so merciless
In the end I'll stay alone
The time stands still
And I am cold "
Komm in mein Boot = Come in my boat.
Yeah, it's also innuendo
But definitely not "cum in my boot" 😂
Boots in German is Stiefel. 😃
We get SO much English from our Germanic cousins, the crossover can make learning easy until the compound words make it confusing.
Hi.. English and German have the same ground.. Far back 6-700 years ago..
700? rly. The Germanic language is much older
German diva and legend Nina Hagen. Having 6.3 octaves. Coloratura voice and fluency in moving from contrabass sounds to the whistle register. I also recommend hearing and seeing:
Nina Hagen - Naturträne Live
Nina Hagen - New York, New York
Nina Hagen - Ziggy Stardust Swedish TV 1980
Nina Hagen - Fever (live 2004)
Nina Hagen - Personal Jesus
English is a West Germanic language that originated from Ingvaeonic languages brought to Britain in the mid-5th to 7th centuries AD by Anglo-Saxon migrants from what is now northwest Germany, southern Denmark and the Netherlands.
There are many English words that are also German.
My German's not the best, but I'm thinkin "Seemann" is "Seaman" in English ... so ... yeah ... PS was thinking this sounded pretty Rammstein as I listened ...and turns out it is!
😂❤
Check out her song NATURTRAINE
Think I misspelled that
Naturträne (Nature's tear)😊 @@XNTYLER
😂 my boot feels wet 👏👏
German komm and English come has the same meaning komm in mein boot means come in my boat
the way you called it semen without question is so funny to me 😭
Well, only then "...cum in my boot" makes sense...
