So I posted a dirty picture of my engine bay (not like a nude but like a picture of it dirty) and I got ROASTED. So i figured I better detail this thing and painted my coil covers while I was at it
Hey man, car looks beautiful, I would suggest removing or at least unplugging your battery prior to spraying your engine with water as an extra protective measure. Wouldn't want to short anything out. Great video, looking forward to the next one.
we get the same motor in the ford fgx xr8 in Australia, except ours comes supercharged from the factory. runs 335kw in stock form, and in the right settings can run up to 351kw with overboost. tuning sees easy gains though, common to be putting out over 400kw at the rear wheels with little effort.

so now at least i know what i am missing on my 2012 f150 engine and couldn't find anything but your video to show how they r removed the covers

what paint did you use? did you wet sand between coats for a smooth finish or no need?
