  • Our 2.7l Silverado broke down on us 500 miles from home. In this video I go through what happened as best I can and give you the preliminary information on the 2.7l's Failure.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; [6] in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight.

A couple of years back, I had a Chevy 1500 with a 4.3 v6. It was reliable but underpowered. When Chevy decided to offer a 4 cylinder in the 1500 truck, I laughed. I know Chevy doesn't care about making a reliable truck. If they did, they wouldn't have discontinued the 5.7 v8 and the 4.3 v6 in their 1500 trucks. When I was growing up in the 90s, Chevy trucks were awesome. Now they're garbage.

This fella is highly skilled, at turning a two minute video into a 14 minute video…😂

All the joys of a modern vehicle. Doesn't matter what manufacturer they've gotten so complicated now that they've turned into pieces of junk

  • @frankkeel8410

Low bid once again on parts. No Quality at GM

  • @jrobdickson8498

SO many armchair experts in these comments- I’m thinking most of them can’t afford anything new enough to be relevant here-

  • @davidkromm4099

All the technology on newer vehicles has gained at least 1% in fuel savings and only cost 90% of the reliability of the vehicle and increased the cost of vehicles to the point that it will never offset the mileage gains…..the world we live in lol

I am actually shocked that it wasn't the Transmission, GM automatics other than the old TH350 and TH400 have a long history of accidents going somewhere to happen. Yeah, the old Powerglides were very reliable, but they went out of production over 50 years ago, and the TH350/400's have been out of production for about 40 years. Thanks for the information on the fuel injection issues, sorry injectors should be easy to replace as they WILL FAIL, or need to be cleaned. Having to replace the fuel rail is way over the line of Piss Poor Engineering. Then with GM and that 3.0lt diesel, that mandates the oil pump belt to be changed at 100k, which only requires the removal of the transmission to service I will avoid GM vehicles like the Bubonic Plague. Maybe instead of worrying about electric vehicles, they should look into quality control and service issues.

This is probably the 3rd time in the years of the 2.7 I've seen this issue. It's a rare one. Easy fix but costly. So far highest mileage ive seen is 208k towing 7k camper 90% of the time with no issues. Except a brake sensor issue. Hope they fix it soon!

Hello Mr. J. I want to say thank you for mentioning the Word of the Lord in your videos!! Please continue glorifying the Lord. God used you to speak to me. Thank you! 🙏

  • @FreddyMcFredd

Sorry for your problems Hope they get it fixed soon.

  • @TEC_Stuff

Thank you for your honesty covering your truck experience. I might recommend putting a special alert bulletin on your earlier truck videos to let people know about the mechanical issues you have had (and the subsequent parts on back order), so that people make informed vehicle purchase decisions with the most current information.

  • @melvinjohnson7033

Yes you did take the long way around the barn on this video but I can see you were understandably upset as any of us would be. Yours is one of the few long term reviews so please keep them coming!

I met my online gaming buddy. I invited him to hang out for the 4th of July. He booked a flight and hotel. When he arrived, I showed him all the sites in and around Boston. We had a great time that weekend.

Still rocking a 1999/2000 5.3 shortbed I threw together from three wrecks (rollover chassis and running gear donor, six banger cab and sheet metal) in 2016.

  • @aarontyrrell2931

Props to Paul for getting you in!!

  • @jamesbrown4776

My 2021 Silverado 1500 2.7L Turbo WT did the same thing within the first 1,000 miles. I took it to the dealer and they found nothing wrong. I was over 600miles away from home and drove it back home and I haven't had any other issues with it.
