Bit of an odd question. What’s the quality of the 3.5mm headphone jack like? Does it get static, hisses and hums when it’s plugged into an amplified speaker? We had to return a Lenovo years ago due to that issue and went with toshiba which is still going strong today but looking at new laptops for mobile DJ use and just use the old toshiba as a backup.
What's up Rich from what I remember the audio quality was fine when plugged into the 3.5mm jack it was the laptop speakers that didn't sound too good. You can always buy a USB sound card dongle to reach higher audio quality. I returned it because the color was killing me .BTW it's a Combo Jack so when you plug in headphones/speakers or a mic software will pop up asking you to select which sound format you want. I hope that helps!!!!
And then another terabyte!! Haha Hi! Just wondering if you still had that laptop and how it was performing. I might buy it off of somebody who I know rarely used it for $170. Will mostly use for internet access and a rarely photoshop. 🙏 Awesome video
It’s still hanging in there. I don’t do much on this machine so it’s perfect for what I use it for. 170 is a great deal I would definitely pick one up at that price . Thanks for watching much appreciated!!!!!
Hi Thanks for the Video, I got my eye on this, but quick question. I noticed u got the AMD instead of Intel, in your opinion which would be better for editing work (Adobe) performance AMD Ryzen 5 or Intel i5. ANy help would be great. Thanks
Honestly I prefer Intel I think AMD performs better for gamers. I've been using intel for decades now so I might be a little bias. What I did notice about amd is the ram is very sensitive so you have to make sure you get matching ram sticks if your upgrading ram with AMD. I'd go with Intel for video editing. I hope I helped.

You will be fine with this laptop just make sure you boost your ram up to at least 16 gigs of ram if possible 32 gigs especially for adobe premiere. I ran premiere with only 16gb and it was fine. Filmora will be a breeze on this machine.
I’m looking to buy one of the Dell Inspiron 15 3000 but with 11th Gen Intel core i5-1135G7 Processor with 12gb Ram and 512 storage. Will it be able to upgrade to 16 and maybe to 1TB since the processors are different
The packaging is terrible and exposes the laptop to accidental damage while on transit. The plastic casing feels cheap and the keyboard rickety to use. It releases clunky sounds when typing. I've never encountered a keyboard so cheapish like this on a laptop. Battery drain is terrible even when on power saving mode. I get around 5 hours on lightweight usage. I expected around 8 hours from it's 41Whr battery. My old Asus had a 26Whr battery and could manage 7 hours when new. The only good thing about it is the WVA Full HD display. It has excellent colors and it's crystal clear from any angle. Performance is amazing too because the 11th Gen processors and Ryzen 5 5000 series deliver more than enough power to run through office tasks easily. The 65 watt charger also comes handy for quick recharges. It's sad that DELL makes it difficult for customers to post product reviews on their website. It's 11 days now since I bought this laptop and I can't see anywhere to post a review. DELL customer support are also not of help at all. Give or take, I wish I would've spent $200 more and get a better laptop.

@@charleeeugene It is not a driver problem or something like that, because I have spoken with several friends who bought this same laptop and almost all of them ended up returning them for temperatures, speakers and screen, in my case sometimes the screen, as it is touch, touches itself, the temperatures are somewhat high, around 89 ° C constantly, and the speakers distort the audio a bit when I listen to music at 100% volume, even below 100% I can hear the small distortion.
