Thank alot! be in touch with me!
Omg, I remember we had volleyball at school and I always use "from medium to high posture" transition when I pass or receive the ball and my classmates were laughing at me, because I couldn't just stand straight and pass. Fu*k! All these years I felt bad but I was right!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for your video!
Hi coach Donny!I wanted to ask you why pros always land on 1 feet when they are always jumping from two and how to do a proper landing on 1 feet? Thanks in advance.
You want your hand and elbows to absorb the force and position them in the direction of ball's impact. If you're hands or elbows are misaligned with the serve direction (too low, too high or skewed) you'll feel the impact on your fingers, wrists or elbows more. Float serves often fall quckly at the end with the bulk of momentum directed down, then you need to be more under the ball or bump pass instead of overhead to dispose it properly. You might need to also check if your hands are not to stiff and take impact elasticly with at least 3 fingers absorbing impact with strech reflex.
hi coach. I need some help on how to read the ball if it is dropshot and how to save it by pancake. im from philippines. I always watch on your videos. hope you can help me i'll try out on the uc by january hope it will be done. thanks coach donnie!
Hello! I have it hard passing overhead. Everytime I try to pass to my other team mate it always ends up with that I slam the ball back not correctly and it becomes wrong. Can you please maybe tell me some tipes so that I can improve? Thank you!
Heya! I'm just wondering if it is legal to use palms to hit the ball upward instead of doing an overhead pass from the back-row. On top of this, are you supposed to contact the ball with fingerprints just like a set or can you use a bit more of your palms and hence moving your hands closer together?
I think you flattening your fingers during first demonstration. And what i understood from my coach is that we have to give a little curve to our fingers to make the ball like inside a shell to pass with control. I don't know technically which onee is correct. So pls give me a clarification
Hmmm my coach says to use more of the palm instead of the fingers as using fingers risks a powerful server penetrating and going over your head. I see some other comments about using the palms too, whats your opinion?
If Somebody serve and the receiver has to receive overhead or pass with the hand passing for the serve, is it considered illegal if the person receive overhead or do hand passing with both of palms instead of fingers? I just want to ask, because when i play recreational volleyball my beginner friends usually do that...so I ve never questioned it because it was just recreational volleyball

I’m a left hitter and when we did practice games I use to move my head for left back to get it so I didn’t have to pass with my hands

I know I’m a bit late but it doesn’t matter as long as you contact the ball once😅

Когда принимаем подачу, левую ногу поставить вперед, подожение среднее, чуть согнуть колени
whats the difference between overhead passing and setting?
Firmness of hands
Why is it that when I do this the recieve is so loud? It sounds like im slapping the ball but how did you do it almost soundless?
I get what the form is from watching but what do you mean by 2 and 2? Clock position?
Yes
i think he mentioned in his setting video, hands 2 inches apart and 2 inches from your hairline
Still cant pass a strong serve with the overhead technique
Thanks so much. Whenever I play a game against a team that has strong serves, I try to overhead pass, and it always ends up going straight up. This video helped so much.

Sorry to tell you, but thumbs should NEVER meet the ball first - you are risking to break your thumbs....
We call it "finger passing"
