Tour of Holiday Beach, A USCG Run Campground in Kodiak, AK

Holiday Beach is Coast Guard private property and is run by the Chief's Mess. The campground has a fire pit, picnic tables, a large spool table, ATV trails, and lots of fun swings and nets for the kids (or adults) to play with. The campground is only a few hundred feet from the beach. There are no facilities so you are essentially boondocking. Pack out what you pack in and always be bear aware!

Kodiak is a great place to grow up as a kid. Grew up for the most part at Nimitz Park back in the mid to late 70s to the late 80s. Us kids had the enter forest between the creek and the highway to play in.
