Excellent. It's nice to see some things don't change a lot in 40 years. Spent nearly 3 years there in the early 80's. Had a blast. Going back in July. Very nice video.

@@theodoreritola7641 Ted, what a story! Thanks for sharing, this was great to read. In many respects, Kodiak is still what remember it to be, just more modern, more dynamic, with a nice new bridge, few coffee shops et cetera. But the sense of cozy isolation is still there
Your welcome.. i was there in 2004 the last time i had a great time saw childhood friends and worked out at Larson Bay at Kodiak Salmon Packers had a blast
Lived there in 66, only paved roads were on the Navy base at that time. One of the best places l've ever lived.
Very nice. I was there from 76-79. Lots of new and a lot of familiar. Enjoyed this. Thanks!
Lived there from 1996 - 2023. I sure miss home..
Looks so beautiful and peaceful 😌

I absolutely love the crummy rainy weather in Alaska
😂
I have lived in Kodiak for 17 years. Absolutely the best place to live.
You didn't show the most beautiful places..."out the road".
Pod jakim względem "najlepsze miejsce do życia"? Chyba nie ze względu na chłodny klimat.
I lived there in 77 they didn’t have that bridge to Woody or Near island the weather looks the same!
I daydream about moving to Kodiak. I probably never will, but is so alluring.
You need to start with a quick trip
which café is it on 8:10 ? I guess not mill bay?
It is the Harborside Fly-by Coffee on Mill Bay Road
There are other churches besides Orthodox right? Hopefully, . . .
For sure there are others, but the Orthodox temples have made a significant impact on Kodiak's history, which is recognized by the town and the locals
