I recently got this mic because my seiren mini got stripped on the plastic mount, so I decided to buy the V2 pro and I don't even regret it lol! it sounds great!!
Wow. First gen Seiren (looked like a big barrel) actually had much better specs than this new one. It was 192Khz and 24 bit. I still have it and I will be keeping it indefinitely. Nothing new beats it in sub 200 dollar price range today.
So I have a ton of issues with razer synapse when it comes to this tupid thing. With streamer mix off I can hear myself via mic monitoring (which I want) but nothing else. When I have streamer mix on I can hear everything, use all the different channels and they work like the should but I don't get the mic monitoring . It really aggravates me that I can't get it working and razer support is useless I was hoping you may have any tips? Also everytime I switch streamer mix off or on I almost always have to restart my computer to unfreeze synapse. Everything else works but it breaks synapse. Is there a better device manager that's compatible with razer products?
@Drew9140 so it boiled down to me going through ALL my audio settings not just from the settings menu in synapse or from the windows setting menu but from the control pannel as well. Long story short you have to select the microphone and select "listen to this device" in the audio settings section in control pannel for the microphone to come through the headset, then it's a matter of balancing everything in synapse. But yeah I hadn't had it selected for my microphone. So select "LISTEN TO THIS DEVICE" in control pannel audio settings under your microphone
@@Mr-117 problem, that’s not a solution. That is windows built in playback and it is severely delayed compared to the audio Jack. My gripe it that it works perfectly fine, but then if I want to install synapse to use the gain limiter and high pass filter, it completely breaks.
hey my headphone isn’t working while it plugged into the microphone as in i cannot hear it speak through it and i’m using a razor kraken v3 hypersense, and not only that the synapse application isn’t working when i try to use the settings for the product, what do i do ?
So i have the hyperx quadcast s. I hate it. Ive tried everytbing to eliminate keybaord chatter but it will pick it up when i talk or press a button too hard. Im wondering with this and the nvidai noise supression will it elimante that issue for me?

dude you are way underrated, excellent reviews. subbed!!!
Thanks for the support!
You never provided a link for which boom arm you use
I got this and it's actually hella nice.
Nice, glad it's working good for you. Pretty well rounded mic, I like the way it looks also.
@@CalebThornton yeah it fits on my fifine boom arm and I also like the dynamic mic over condenser cardiod
@@khensationalReviews Awesome! I'm really liking it, using as my main mic for the moment.
What microphone support (the thing that makes the mic closer to you) do you recommend?
great review, I might have to replace my samson g-track pro as it's way too sensitive. I had to turn my volume way up for this video fyi.
Yeah, I had the gain pretty low to make sure I wasn't peaking at all. You can definitely boost the volume a lot more on the mic
Thanks for this info.
Is this good for making music?
what mic boom did you use?

Hi, do you think the Razer Seiren Pro or the HyperX QuadCast S is better?

I have these problems as well. Does your 3.5 headphone jack work? Mine works perfectly fine until I install synapse

@Drew9140 oh well I'm a novice anyway but I do t have that issue boss, sorry
With noise supression on does it still pick up keyboard chatter? My hyperx quad cast s will and it bothers me. Trying to find a mic that won't do that

I have the v2 x and its picking up way too much ambient noise even when I have the know turned all the way down. How do I fix this

I’m a a yeti classic better than this? I have both I think razer is better in my opinion
Hi, is this microphone compatible with all sockets?
Does this pick up all the keyboard and mouse sounds, since it will sit so close to them?
struggling with this problem rn
Does it work on Xbox series x?

I just bought it cuz it’s on discount rn on Amazon instead of it being $150 it’s $99
