Thanks for these videos. Just found your channel as I was looking for a desk mic for those days I don’t want to use my mod mic and instead use IEMs. Went for the V2x.
@@devrimboz4302 yeah. you can use audacity, windows default sound recorder to record sound. just make sure you select the razer seiren as default recorder.
I love the video! Thanks for not fiddling with the settings and letting us hear them straight out of the box. The difference between the three mics narrows once they are on the boom arm. I am definitely going with the Siren Mini! Also, where did you get that mouse pad from? It looks great!
im using a seiren mini and wanting to upgrade to either seiren pro or elgato wave 3. but the funny thing is, my seiren mini sound test is really good but ONLY on audacity, but in OBS it is completely different story which is weird. so im still thinking of keeping my seiren mini and maybe im gonna put on some pop filter on it.
Pro has better sound quality for my voice, by the sounds of it, whereas V2 X sounds too muddy, though great for deeper voices and for podcasts, streaming or in general. For singing, I would personally choose the V2 Pro.
@@Daniel-dj7fh Hilariously I just found out about Razer Seiren V3 Mini, looks like it's got a mute button, haven't checked for USB C but it's slightly more expensive
@@333dae Mute button is all nice and good (but also literally a keyboard macro which takes 3s to set up). But that doesn't turn the mic off. I'm not an electrical engineer yet, but I would assume that they have no schematic to cut the microphone from power when it's not in use. Meaning it's always running, even if "nobody" is listening.
I used to have the mini but then I upgraded to the Razer Seiren V2 pro because I bought it only for $105 and I am happy with it as it is High quality and sounds good. The only problem that I have with it is that Razer synapse does not have "Pro" features for their microphones like EQ control but I use a software for that making it sound better.
Hola amigo he comprado el razer v2x pues resulta q cuando grabó el microfono sube y baja el sonido y es tedioso, por que hay partes q se escuchan como si alguien estuviera bajando y subiendo el volumen, gracias
So i ironiclly just bought the V2 X myself. and this video comparison just affirmed everything i was thinking when i picked this one. (which btw the V2 X is on sale rn for like 49.99) but learning that the capsule size on the mini is15 while the v2 x is 25mm was a shock. and since my friend has one he said a logitech X Yeti and it sounds ok on its original stand. but i own a mic arm and im also getting a pop filter just to add that extra layer of protection for peeking. will update when i get it in early 2025
The v2 pro is better then the v2 x but you have to go into softwre and change stuff to make it have great sound quality so only get the v2 pro if you know how to do tht stuff
@@Barris_ Yeah, still holds up pretty great even now. Would be nice to see it get a refresh with USB-C and maybe add a mute button on the mic itself, then it would be perfect.
For me v2 x sounds the best and it has the "richer voice" but it also shows all small problems with your talking, ex. i can easily guess when u had too much salivia in your mouth. Thus it's very demanding for the person who speaks. And Pro has less richer sound but it also doesn't show so much all those small problems.
incredibly helpful review. ironically I felt the V2X sounded great and captured the most bass/spectrum for your video
Awesome mic test. Distance and angle of the mics really do make a difference
Thanks! Yeah it really does.

Good review. Thumb up. I feel Seiren v2 x has overall best price and performance.
Thanks for watching! I agree :)
is ok to use them for singing record?

yeah mini is my favorite. save money more portable more to the point.
I agree with others. I think the V2 X's audio is much better than the pro. The pro has more of an "echo" sound, like you're talking in a bathroom.
One of the best tech review channels I've come across (+1 sub)
Thanks! Appreciate the support :)
Awsome simple but effective review, thanks for your help
Glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching!
Thanks man this really helps narrow down the best choice for me.

If you can make it work for you It would be worth it to just save the money, then you can put it towards something else.
yah im wanting to upgrade my mini to a v2 X since it's on sale for amazon for only $60 right now but im unsure since the mini is already so great lol

Very nice and detailed video. Thanks!
If the mini had a usb c port and a switch to turn it off, it would be a great budget mic.
Got mine for like 40bucks, was a good buy.
Hoping they update it someday with those features
@@333dae same, if it gets usb-c and an on off switch staying at the same price it would be a slapping mic.

If you use a boom arm how far away should it be fore the siren v2 pro?
Great review. Thank you. Razer has done a great job with these.
any mics that DO pick up background noise? i want to use it for that purpose to records noise of a room.

My soul hurts the black or white mini is 55$ but the pink one is 32$ ._. pink it is
Lol
The pink one is better🤷♂️
@@adrianw0w757 It's nasty is what it is.
Thanks, that helped
I feel like the sound sounds more like if it is coming out of an can on the pro... is that just me?
Dont think so
yeah, sounds a bit tinny
They are basically the same once in the boom arm
is this mic can plug with xlr port?

The V2 X has the best sound quality.
I agree 100%
V2 Pro has the best sound quality, much louder and clearer
@@championic not to me. V2 X sounded better to my ears.
Yup.
Depends on the headphones or speakers you use watching this video. I got both of them and the pro one is a huge upgrade
The V2 X has to much bass, for voice I dont like that
The V2 X is 56€ on Amazon and the mini is 59€ 😂😂😂
What boom arm did you have for the pro I can’t find a good one
What boom arm are you using?
