The books are great for this reason! 'Agency' - fantastic. I also love Gibson's 'Neuromancer' - really old, but a grandfather to all the rest. World building and dialogue that now represents companies and tech in existence.
I REALLY liked this show. I was so sad I got canceled. I decided to pick up the book to get the rest of the story and was shocked to discover the book is quite shit tbh, and also ends just as abruptly as the first season.
