ずっと前にロク漫で正宗さんが夜のサイクリングの思い出話をされてました。
この『夜を駆ける』はもしかしたら下記の記憶を参考にされて作った曲なのでは？と勝手に思ってます。
【内容】
15歳頃に一緒にロックをよく聴いていたヤマサキくんという友達と大みそかに夜のサイクリングをしたことがあった。
ヤマサキくんがラジカセをママチャリのカゴに入れて、一緒にDeep Purpleの「Anthem」を聴きながら夜中に福岡から太宰府天満宮を目指した。
この曲聴くと真冬の真夜中の国道3号線の景色を思い出す。
今は都市高速が走ってて景色が変わったが、昔はそれもなくて倉庫とか工場とか閉店後の中古車屋さんとかが並んでて寂し～い感じだった。
昔亭主が出張でいない夜、子供らとチャリで商店街の向こうの寿司屋へ行った時両側のアーケードの間から満月が見えていた。そんなことを思い出す。
