    The fixed harnesses are out of place? That machine is capable of going 79 mph plus, I think if something goes wrong and I go into a roll at that speed Im going to appreciate them… people also climb steep hills with the 1000’s, I don’t think they’ll feel out of place if you go rolling end over end backwards down a hill. A machine doesn’t have to have a turbo and be capable of 100 mph just to justify having harnesses.

      I do know what he’s talking about with the seatbelts. It’s hard for me to reach up and grab my drink or get something out of the glove box or my sunglasses when I have the seatbelt tightened. I just don’t always use it or I use it and I keep the other one out so I can move around.

    You people should actually drive one. Its a great upgrade. I absolutely love mine. The gauge in the center is nice because you have better view in front of you and you can actually see the gage. The XP rides incredible. Now time will tell on how reliable it will be but I also don't beat the crap out of my stuff either.

      Do you still have it? How does it work 6 months later? Do you have any annoying squeaks or noises? I'm about to buy one and I'm also one of those who don't throw away their things.

    I don’t like that the gauge cluster is gone and the tie down points shouldn’t be above the suspension. straps will come lose when it starts bouncing on the trailer. Other than that it’s pretty cool.

    the biggest issue with the prior model was the driveline. the front diff had a plastic sprague carrier?! thats borderline criminal as an OEM design! and the junk rubber carrier bearing?! what the heck! and the belt design was far too small and weak. If you talk to any RZR guy, almost everyone has been broken down on a trail due to a broken carrier bearing, grenaded front diff, or prematurely blown belt. It immediately sours you to the polaris brand. 100% agree about the shifter. its so sloppy and bad. And when parked on a hill it sticks, causing you to really crank on it, stretching the cable, and eventually it breaks too... id hope they would address those first and foremost on the new one.

  • @rdbarber72
    @rdbarber72 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    i agree with you totally. i just put 300 miles on mine and totally agree. The shifter is more like a tractor. Seems like it should shift right in and not be so dam clunky. You have to use some force and having to come to a complete stop is undesirable as well in my opinion. A regular ol shoulder strap seat belt more than sufficient for this rig. it would get worn a lot more. the five point harness is a bit of over kill in my opinion. pain in the ass for a old fat guy with a torn rotator cuff ,to put on. Its a lot of fun though definitely a nice machine.

    We just got this exact machine. We have 200 miles on it and I’m going next weekend to try to trade it in. We have to wear sunglasses or safety glasses the entire time we ride constantly blows, dust off of the road and swirls around the cabin. It’s my number one complaint once we get from points to point B. we look like raccoons I had no idea it would be this bad. doesn’t matter if we’re completely by our self on a trail or not, we have a glass windshield and a back glass shield I also agree with the shifting issue.

    Five things I like about the new RZR
    1- Easy access to tow points. When I pull so many out of them out of the mud, it’s nice to have a good pull point to attack my KRX 1000 tow rope to.
    2- Overall weight- It’s light and nimble, which makes it easier on my KRX 1000 to pull the RZR out of the places it really should avoid.
    3- Cup Holders- Polaris knows their customers, so they were specifically designed to hold cans of Bud Light.
    4- Easy access doors- The doors were designed to allow quick passenger and driver exit points for when the thing catches on fire.
    5- Overall Appeal - When you step back and look at the RZR 1000 next to a KRX 1000, you realize how much more capable the KRX is, but also how much cooler the driver looks.

      I don’t love Polaris but if you want to talk about a complete joke of a brand talk about Kawasaki.
      I’ve legitimately never seen a KRX out in the wild, they can’t even sell them. Multiple videos on the internet of utility 1000s beating it in drag races. I love Kawasaki motorcycles but the KRX is a disgusting looking joke of a sxs.
      Like it or not polaris invented this entire sxs class. Yamaha made a flat track monster with a real transmission. Honda made it better with a DCT. Can Am made broke HP barriers and made the class more competitive. Kawasaki did nothing.
