- Since April 5, 1992, when Maxine Gray vanished without a trace along with her 1965 Chevy Malibu, the waters have whispered tales of mystery and despair.
In the heart of Texas, where time seems to stand still, the ripples of Maxine's disappearance have never truly settled. The lakes and ponds, guardians of age-old secrets, beckoned us to dive into their depths, to seek answers to a question that has haunted the town of Mount Pleasant for over three decades.
With every water body we explored, the weight of anticipation grew heavier. The sonar, our beacon in this quest, painted tales of submerged relics, from forgotten tires to remnants of old bridges. But among these, could there be a clue to Maxine's fate?
The waters, though often calm on the surface, held turbulent tales beneath. Objects, once submerged, became prisoners of the deep, undisturbed by time or tide. And as we navigated these aquatic labyrinths, the chilling possibility of a car speeding off into the abyss, with its occupant trapped inside, haunted our every move.
Local legends, fishermen tales, and whispered stories guided our path. Every shadow on the sonar, every anomaly on the lakebed, intensified the suspense. Was it a boat, a relic of the past, or the very car we were searching for?
As the sun set on the horizon, casting a golden hue over the Texas waters, our search for Maxine continued, each moment echoing the 31 years of silence, each ripple telling a story, and each discovery bringing us closer to the truth.

you guy are beyond professional, ive watched a lot of your videos and must admit i have shed a lot of tears. Some of the videos make my blood boil when it seems the police just dont give a damn ( they say they have searched but you find them in a few hours) why on earth they dont call you to do these searches god knows...please please keep doing what you do. best wishes from a UK follower.

For the past week or so, I've been covering at one of my boss's shops in the Galveston, TX area (and I commute from Lake Jackson, which is about an hour away), and I'm always more attentive anytime I'm going over or near a body of water along the route. There is even a guardrail being replaced in one spot as of late, but it's over dry land, and when I first passed it, I thought about how crucial it is to question why that was damaged, so I think about those things whenever I'm on the road. There are definitely cars in my hometown's lake but it's extremely deep. They found a car and occupant missing since the 60's so, there must be water around here that hasn't been searched. God speed on this case!

I 100% agree with Jared if he hasn't searched it he cant count it out. Look how many times others have scanned areas and missed vehicle if you don't use sonar enough its hard to know what you are looking at. Plus using 2 different types of sonar and along with the magnetometer helps alot.

Jared, I love your videos. I noticed you keep saying 65 Monte Carlo. The Monte Carlo was not in production until 1969 for 1970. The 1970 Monte Carlo is bigger than the 1965 Malibu and took a long distance to reach 100mph. More than a quarter mile. Knowing things like this helps enhance your credentials.
It would have been really old by then so it's a miracle it was running at all!
I noticed that too. In the news report at the beginning of the video they said it was a '65 Malibu and kept showing a picture of a similar car throughout the video.

Used to have a co-worker that would say all the time, "trust but verify" (in regards to people telling you how deep something is, etc).

Something doesn’t fit right with this case. A woman just doesn’t disappear around mount pleasant unless someone wants her gone. There has to be more to this story. There has been way too many people disappearing from Mt pleasant and Texarkana.
Jared, please look into the disappearance of Tony Bledsoe from Arcadia, Indiana. His son is desperately trying to bring his father home!

I'm thinking of buying some of your safety car escape things. A few months ago I was in a wreck that left my car upside down. Thankfully I was uninjured, my seat belt could be undone, and when someone stopped to assist me, they were able to open my door after I unlocked it. Thinking about it now, I was incredibly fortunate to get out of my car, and it catching fire was definitely a thought that crossed my mind, and I turned the engine off before crawling out. If it happens again I want something i can use to make sure I can get out on my own.

Although often sad searches n outcomes, I just want to say how beautiful some of the scenery and locations you search are. That first lake was so still and tranquil surrounded with gorgeous trees. I much rather the landscapes n forrest area in US and Europe than our dry HOT bushlands in West Australia…
Speaking of the belt cutter and car fire. I had to rescue a person from a car, that flipped upside down and caught fire. It was on a highway. First off once the vehicle is upside down, the driver is on the "wrong" side of the car !
I was only able to rescue the person, because of a tourist bus that stopped and a person had a pocket knife with him. You really can unbuckle a seat belt once its in tension !
The car is full blaze within maybe a minute or two.... plus liquids such as oil and fuel started to seep out onto the asphalt catching fire.
SO one of this 'gadgets' are really life savers !!

Thank each and everyone of you AWP because everyone of these family needs answer to many missing people and yet they are no longer looking for our missing children Jared thank you for continue to help us all have answers because we never forget that they are missing but you give us all answers so we have closer as well as the Families because I know and I remember seeing them all on the News when they were frist missing we might not know them personally but yet we remember seeing them on the News so yes we have closer and happy for the family because they have answers and we all cared about them because we were looking for them but everyone else gave up and you never gave up because you want to continue to help families have answers never knowing is a lot worse because the nightmares never end

A question came to mind.. Have you all been on a case maybe miles, a state or states away on another case & you found a vehicle a missing person's vehicle you search for & didn't find till you were on another case miles away?

i think what may help on these cases where it's been a number of years is if you could get old maps or aerial photos of the area from that time period as mentioned development and changes to an area do happen

I love all the maps and the landscape view it's like we're on a detective case but I remember its real that it's a Bittersweet reason they're doing it
Jared I been watching you since the beginning when you were just cleaning out the rivers and streams I am sending prayers for you and your family because I know what you do for these families and you can find a lot of missing people just look at how many other vehicles you come across and you tell them how many you found 16 different vehicles but not the one that you were looking for and you let them know about it and yet you continue to move forward to help the Family that reach out to you and yes I will call you when you are in my area looking for missing people and yet we all need answers because it's a living nightmares you don't know what happened and yet you continue to keep looking for them all
It is very hard to find a person after so many years if the person is under water. Imagine since 1992. Jared can find her but her car would really be deep under mud and the environment.
Jared, If you go back at the 44:39 timestamp and look on side imaging on the right side isn’t that a vehicle? Plus, Have you tried also using old plat maps for the areas your searching to get an idea of how the terrain has changed over the years?
