Around boats all my life when 1st married we rented a boat to fish out of. When we stopped at our fishing hole water got up around our ankles. Lol I asked my husband if he but the plug in the boat. He had a friend with us and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. I fished plug from the bottom of the boat and told him you better get this boat moving as fast as you can back to the dock or we would sink. He was so embarrassed I had to take over to run some of that water out of the boat. We made it and he never forgot to put the plug in the boat again LOL. To much fun!
i absolutely love that all of you guys and stuck to your morals and left what you probably didn't know at the time but would eventually become a toxic enviroment eventually and keep pushing forward with agenda you learned along the way .. i truly believe that you guys will be just as successful if not even more than the previous endevours ... keep trucking forwards guys!!

The teamwork makes the dream work .The only positive about your prior negative experience is it brought so many people together, to learn from each other and grow professionally and personally to help more people. He recently died from Dementia/stroke/seizures…he still remembered the 7 P’s and said it with me in one of our last calls.

So glad to see you guys back out there together! It’s been too long, but this new search and rescue mission needed to take its time and happen the right way: as a non-profit with accountability to donors and a board of directors.
Always cook a great chili low and slow. Never rush it. If you rush it, it’ll just get burned and bitter. When it’s finally done, it will be unforgettable! That’s gonna be the ASC way - maybe there will a few stinky💨 along the way (like not plugging your boat!), but there’s always Beano for that, lol. 😂😂😂
I'm gathering the non-profit was the way around the non-compete clause?
@@purity333 maybe, or perhaps they found some other loophole . . . but regardless of the clause, this is how any venture of this sort that accepts “donations” should be done. Doug didn’t get to make any such decisions at his old gig, but I’m glad it worked out this way so Doug and his team can literally do things with an open heart and an open book. 😊 👍🏻 It’s the right thing to do, and Doug and his team will not only help tons of family’s and law enforcement agencies, but will also be able to make a more decent living once things kick into high gear - lots of executive directors who work hard earn six figures, their staff gets paid fairly, AND are operating in the green. Takes some time for every non-profit to get their bearings, but I know Doug is dedicated to this mission and will become very successful with his organization in time.
@@MashaT22Doug will never have almost 30 missing brought home to loved ones... He's a wanna be that won't be....same with Josh. That wind under their sails from their time with a real search team will run out of steam soon....
@@MydNyteRayne first off, it’s not a contest. It’s not about how many lost loved ones they find. If you’re following any of these “homegrown” search and recover channels for numbers and stats, then you’re here for the wrong reasons. If you want stats, go watch baseball or football.
Second, let me remind you that Jared was never a “real” search team (in your words) either - he started off diving for junk as a hobby and an accidental discovery of a body in a car turned into AWP. He figured it all out along the way. Jared had no professional advice or experience in search and recovery. So who are you to say that Doug and whomever else he partners with can’t do just as well if not better? Unlike Jared, Doug is doing this as a non-profit and partnering with like-minded professionals in this field - both of which Jared was unwilling to do because he wanted full control over the money without transparency and accountability, as well as being able to take full credit for each find without getting trained about how to deal with families, how to dive safely, etc. Recently, he spent 8 episodes looking for someone that he didn’t even find - and then he didn’t even admit that someone else found the mission person in the end. He should have addressed that like a big boy instead of avoiding it altogether.
Doug and his new organization have the potential to do amazing things and are clearly driven and excited about doing this kind of work. If you don’t believe in him and his team, then why are you here?
