Gotta appreciate how good the sword slash effects are in this game at max settings. Too bad the rain swords looked and sounds anemic tho they should have replicated the feel it once had in DMC 4 but hey atleast there are mods to fixed that

I had this problem too. I found out that I was spamming ∆ or Y when doing the Rapid Slash. If you spam ∆ or Y, the clone will move but if you only press ∆ or Y once immediately after summoning clone, the clone will stay in place.
