I recently started playing Pikmin 1 on the Switch and now I understand the pure unadulterated frustration and despair that is fighting the Yellow Wollywog

Fun fact: if by any means a piece gets out of bounds, it will respawn in the nearest place of floor it has, this has happen to me multiples times, im just used to it, man i love this game from 22 years ago

I'm glad that...stressful experience in Forest of Hope seems to be universal. With me the Progg spawned right outside the base on day 2, had to spend most of the day fighting it.
So glad I got to see this in my feed. It was enjoyable, distressing and chaotic how the randomized version of Pikmin 1 gets. I knew about the concept of the game getting randomized but only when I saw enemies literally 'spawn camping', bosses being out in the open or the dang Smoky Proggs showing up in numbers, jeez. Probably due to YT taking advantage of me looking for Pikmin content while waiting for Pikmin 4 or luck, I'm glad I did. I liked the editing done to drive home jokes and the commentary to alleviate the stress I'm sure this caused. Props for the content and consider me subscribed.

Cool bug facts: If a shearwig or sheargrub catches a Pikmin in it's pincers, they won't let go even if you swarm them with Pikmin, *but a well aimed toss is enough to loosen their grip, preventing the Pikmin death.*

In my experience, the wierd smoky prog is easiest to kill if you take it on with 2 red pikmin. Fighting it while controlling an army is how massacres happen.
In the final cutscene, I think we have a guess for each color except brown and orange. Red, blue, and yellow are the standard, then you have white, purple, and green with the poison, purple, and parasite pikmin from two, pink and black from flying and rock, then finally light blue from four.
