fun fact: you can occasionally see the snaxsquatch in areas around the game, it will shortly disappear after it spawns. I do not know if this can only happen after certain parts of the game or if it can happen any time, but I saw it up on a cliff in the Garden Grove. scary fact: if you dont finish each character's quests all the way through, they will eat bugsnax in the finale. if you let them eat too much, they will...... disappear. however, if you complete all their quests, they will never eat more bugsnax and whack anything that gets close to them. the bad ending means only you and filbo escape. if you lose anybody, the final group picture of everybody else wont show, and everybody you lose wont get to show their after-the-story images.
I looked for a Snaxsquatch by walking backwards and it still spooked me bad :s Pretty sure you can get through finale without losing anyone if you fight off the snax well enough.
Sorry for the hotake but, people are way overselling how “horrifying” this game is, you’re still talking to discount muppets and making them look like goofy food monsters, I get it, the game has some dark undertones, but honestly I fail to see them as more “scary” than your typical Kirby/Pikmin lore
There is no beating around the bush here, this is a horror game. It lures you into thinking it cute and innocent before just traumatizing you as it goes.

What I love about the ending besides the twist is the fact if you complete all the characters quests its impossible for them to lose and will defend themselves no matter now many get to them because they believe themselves now realizing they dont need the snaxs. If you dont they wont fight back and actually eat the snaxs and if they eat too many they give a little farewell before exploding into food which is just sad to watch

Something I quite cherished is that the Strawby in the ball seems to very much stay on our side, so it's nice to see that Gramble was able to tame ONE of the parasites

You can actually find the snaxsquach near where Snorpy and Chandlo lived in the mountain so as soon as you get there look at the trees on your right and it will sometimes be there and it can also be found in the middle of cromdo’s windmills on scorched gourge
This was so fun to watch after having 100%'d the game myself! There's another secret hidden bugsnax only found in a hidden area connected to Boiling Bay but its technically completely optional and mostly just lore-based. The hidden bugsnax is also incredibly incredibly annoying to catch and requires a lot of patience and time and literally just luck. Would love to also see you do all the Bigsnax DLC stuff as well as it's also really fun!

I am going to be honest here. When I decided to get bugsnaxs platinum trophy I did also customise all the grumps but not to the degree you did but I will say you are more creative then me. I just turned all their body parts into one bugsnax. It does look funny turning their body’s into goofy designs.😂

I looked up Bugnax on TH-cam because of the nostalgia the Kero Kero Bonito song gave me and after jamming to the song, I wanted to see the game for the first time after knowing about it's existence for several years. This game is adorable and Charlie is really fun. Everyone needs a Bunger Bed.

BTW: the game also tracks what Bugs are in Gramble's ranch (shown by a fence icon on the Bug's portrait in the Bugapedia), and is counted as a second form of catching although the game doesn't give anything for "ranching" all Bunsnax also the Bugs permanently stay in the ranch, even if some should have narratively left at certain points in the game

This is my favorite game and I’m really happy that people are still playing it. I’m hoping that more people discover it because I’m dying for a sequel. It’s rare a game manages to be goofy, creepy and emotional all at the same time. I also do agree about the DLC. Chandlo, Triffany, Flooty and Shelda get more attention. I've beat Bugsnax multiple times over, so this was an enjoyable watch! I *highly* recommend playing Bigsnax. It makes the ominous ending a lot clearer. Equally ominous, though.

Wow, I 100%-ed this game too and never realized you could collect sauce with the Snakgrappler! That makes things _so_ much easier in the Sizzling Sands with the cheese sauce.

When I had my first playthrough, I never noticed them. (Even my second one) But, one the third and fourth, I had noticed them.
Also, I didn't know that is what makes the characters die. I will test that for myself. Thank you!
Actually they will only eat them if you don't kill them first, you can complete the quest lines and still not save them in the end

I looked up Bugnax on TH-cam because of the nostalgia the Kero Kero Bonito song gave me and after jamming to the song, I wanted to see the game for the first time after knowing about it's existence for several years. This game is adorable and Charlie is really fun. Everyone needs a Bunger Bed.

when i hyperfixated on bugsnax like 3 months ago i was always like "omg if charlie played this my life would be complete" and now i'm complete
BTW: the game also tracks what Bugs are in Gramble's ranch (shown by a fence icon on the Bug's portrait in the Bugapedia), and is counted as a second form of catching although the game doesn't give anything for "ranching" all Bunsnax
also the Bugs permanently stay in the ranch, even if some should have narratively left at certain points in the game
I love the little bits of repeating the Snax. Its impossible to play this game without repeating them to yourself at least a little lol Also that pronunciation of Mama Mewon made me laugh bc like, she says her own name. Its just Melon with a w 😭

This is my favorite game and I’m really happy that people are still playing it. I’m hoping that more people discover it because I’m dying for a sequel. It’s rare a game manages to be goofy, creepy and emotional all at the same time.
I also do agree about the DLC. Chandlo, Triffany, Flooty and Shelda get more attention. Plus, you get some extra lore and a special Bugsnax.

I've beat Bugsnax multiple times over, so this was an enjoyable watch! I *highly* recommend playing Bigsnax. It makes the ominous ending a lot clearer. Equally ominous, though.

I have yet to 100%. I just a few more achievements to do. I already played the whole game though. The worst achievement for me is the transform every Grumpus because I know what the snax are. I don't want to transform Filbo (although I did rather quickly make Beffica into pickles).

Wow, I 100%-ed this game too and never realized you could collect sauce with the Snakgrappler! That makes things _so_ much easier in the Sizzling Sands with the cheese sauce.
