They were the only church anywhere around me that was teaching Bible , verse by verse . I left because that does not mean they teach sound Free Grace doctrine . Their repent of your sins - turn from your sins for salvation . Back loading A Saved individual . Misuse of 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17 . Somehow we are made to not sin . I could not keep going . There is a massive , massive amount of superficiality in the church today . The word is very hard to get where I live .

    I’m crippled and tormented constantly with doubt and fear. I’m suffering with everything and can’t move forward. I feel like there is something wrong with me. Not just terrifying salvation doubts. There is a massive, debilitating barrier of not resting in Christ and worship to him. I can’t push through the thorns. I’ve heard I might need deliverance. This is a very real torture that isn’t all in the mind. It’s physical. It’s crushing. Spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. I hate life. I don’t want sympathy, I just need setting free 😔
    I've not been able to sleep properly and have spent most of the last week in bed. I struggle to get out of bed as I'm exhausted and have a constant headache which is sucking the life out of me. It's too much. I can't breathe with the heaviness, the tightness of my chest. The depression and constant deep sadness is unbearable. I can feel it's demonic, I know it is. I've been involved with a lot of dark practices and this is more than oppression. It's demonised. I don't know if this is too much for you but if it is, I need someone who deals with this. It is a very real thing. Spiritual warfare, it's not something most churches deal with or even teach. There are many many real cases of this, people cry out and don't always get the help because many Christians don't believe it.

    You have to know you are called to a higher purpose.And that sometimes we are temporarily trapped in a set of circumstances,,God is teaching to pray your way out,as a future reference.Forvotherctroublescthatvmay come your way.ItsvGods job to decide when your healing comes He has it planned for a particular moment in time,where it will do you the most spiritual good.Sometimes if things happen to quickly we get the spiritual big head,and then we end up ashamed and destroyed,and our ministry a failure Wait on God ,the your ways will prosper.

    When we become a Christian, we have already repented, changed our thinking to be in line with what God has said and believe him and it is counted for righteousness. The Christian is not a sin denier, the Gnostics in Johns Day were, and there are many today, there are sinners that claim they were born that way, so it is not sin. Romans 6 tells us how we should deal with sin in our lives. 1 John 1:9 is not for believers, because believers have been cleansed from all unrighteousness and God is no longer imputing sin to them. The believer sins but the word of God tells us that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. We are made righteous in him, we do not lose our righteousness when we sin and need to confess and be cleansed from righteousness again.

    • @BibleLine
      @BibleLine  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No one is saying we lose our righteousness if 1 John 1:9 is to believers. 1 John has nothing to do with salvation into eternal life (barring a few verses like 5:10-13), but it is to do with fellowship and our walk with God. To confess sin is simply to agree with God that we have done wrong. If we choose to not do that, we are calling God a liar. That would be fleshly living, seeing we still have the ability to sin. Romans 8 is a great place to connect the dots. There is no condemnation to those WHO walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. There is condemnation (NOT HELL FIRE) to the believer who sins and thinks it’s okay to sin. He’s walking in darkness and not in light. This doesn’t mean he is unsaved, but he is carnal. There is no blessing or rewarding to the carnal believer.

      @@BibleLine Thank you for responding, I was dealing with this and came across a sermon by Pastor Fred Coile of Northside church, it is called "What about my sin?" I know he is in line with our believe of once saved always saved, as Dr Andrew Farley on 1 John 1:9. I would also say that Dr Tom of Northland is in agreement with you, the thing that sticks in my craw is the words say being forgiven of our sins, which I have been, but not if I sin again? Because he says it is once that we are made righteous, and he died for sin once. The thought of needing to be cleansed again is like if I am going down the road and sin, and then am killed in a wreck, have I been cleansed and made righteous or not, this is confusing in many ways for me.

    • @BibleLine
      @BibleLine  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s not the same “cleansing” as the initial positional justification we receive by faith alone in Christ.
      It’s the day to day practical sanctification aspect concerning our walk with God. If you sin as a saved person, God doesn’t just overlook that. There’s chastening, lack of rewards, and distance in fellowship that can occur. Again, this is nothing to do with our initial salvation into eternal life. It is also not a double justification, but it’s just the day to day walk with our Heavenly Father. I’m His child, but the father doesn’t just let me go on and sin without consequences EVEN THOUGH I’m already forgiven.
      - Trent

  • @Str8Ripper1776
    @Str8Ripper1776 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You dont need to confess your sin to be forgiven because Yeshua sacrificed for our sin past, present, and future. Correct? It is to acknowledge that we have made that mistake and we need guidance, strength, and perseverance against that sin and temptation through the holy spirit

    • @BibleLine
      @BibleLine  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The 1 John 1:9 reference is contextually to believers. It’s for the purpose of “that your joy may be full.” To “confess” your sin as a believer is simply to come to an agreement with God that what he says is right and that our sin is wrong.
      This has zero to do with salvation and everything to do with our day to day walk with God in fellowship with him.
      Believers are capable of walking in their sin nature. This is the reason confession is good. It helps us to be in better fellowship with God (NOT to be confused with relationship- we are his children always). Note the children point: children mess up and fail to obey their parents. It is good for a child to come to an agreement with their parent about that disobedience, and the child should grow from that.

      @@BibleLine I would agree with that if 1:9 did not say and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, if you are a born again forgiven believer we have been forgiven of our sins and never are unrighteous again, we are in his righteousness. Romans 4:7-8 David is saying, Blessed are they whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. You quoted Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 1 John 2:3 says and hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments, his commandment is to love your brother, not confess your sins over and over that is Catholicism. 1:7 But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from ALL sin. I agree with almost everything you preach, but I do not believe he is talking to the ones that have already been saved, we are not sin deniers, but have believed that we are sinners in need of a Savior in order to be saved. Your first sentence above is called repent and believe God, and I agree with that. I hope you don't take this as we are enemies, I think you are correct on almost everything I have heard you preach.
