Paul was converted on the road to Demascus. How then could he have ever been writing Divinely Inspired words before he was saved? Wasn't he genociding Christians then? 100% Amen If you sin for example we still have consequences, if we steal, we can go to jail or even worse die. We SHOULD live a Christ like life. If we fall, we get back up and keep pushing for Jesus, not to be saved but because we love Jesus and want to be more like him. Separate from salvation

We obtain salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. But sin still has consequences, one of which is conviction of sin by the Holy Spirit. The anxiety and pain expressed by the person you consulted with likely results from this conviction.
People are trapped in law doctrine. It is doctrine of demons. I get angry when I hear law being preached. We should understand we cannot discipline ourselves. Paul did this and this is what happened. Romans 7:9 KJV "For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died." We as children of God WILL be corrected, disciplined and admonished. We shouldn't run from It, we should embrace it. His love (agape) is perfect towards his children. It's a wonderful thing to know I am kept IN His perfect love by the power of Him.

Why are you not saved. The gospel is simple yet so profound. You and me sin. We both deserve hell. Jesus went to the cross was killed by evil men and shed his blood for YOU. Highly recommend you do a more in depth study of James. Over and over and over James addresses his audience as "Brethren". "Saints, Brethren, Beloved" are synonymous words used to describe believers throughout the NT. James 2 and Titus 3 harmonize nicely. Titus 3 says that we should be careful to maintain good works for what is good and Profitable unto men. Not God. Men. James 2 instructs what we should show our Faith Profitable unto who? Men. Believers and unbelievers alike. Men cannot see faith God can. Romans 4:5 says but to him that Worketh Not but Believes on Him who Justifies the ungodly his what? FAITH is counted for Righteousness. Even as David (OT) describes the Blessedness of the man unto whom God Imputes Righteousness Without Works. And Blessed is the man unto whom God Will Not Impute sin. Comparing Roman's 4 and James 2 we either have a contradiction OR James is talking about a completely different topic. God's word has No contradictions so I'm going with the latter. Again, James is talking Saved brothers and showing how our Faith is shown through good works and that those Good works will be rewarded in Eternity. Just because the Brethren are commended for our good works does Not mean we are Saved by them. Paul clearly taught that our works will be judged in fire and we will either recieve or lose rewards, But "he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire". Jesus Christ said he who Believes on Him has both done the Will of the Father (John 6:40), is Not Condemned (John 3) and Shall Not Come into Condemnation but has passed from Death unto Life (John 5). Paul wrote in Galatians "the scriptures foretold that God would Justifiy the Heathens, Through Faith". Without Faith it is impossible to please God. God made the plan for Salvation Simple. So Simple a child can understand. Paul even calls the Gospel "the simplicity that is in Christ Jesus" but man will do what man does best and make it complicated. Hope this helps. ❤

The book of James is directed at people who already have believed and trusted in Christ. "Saints, Brethren, Beloved" are synonymous words used to describe believers throughout the NT. James 2 and Titus 3 harmonize nicely. Titus 3 says that we should be careful to maintain good works for what is good and Profitable unto men. Not God. Men. James 2 instructs what we should show our Faith Profitable unto who? Men. Believers and unbelievers alike. Men cannot see faith God can. Romans 4:5 says but to him that Worketh Not but Believes on Him who Justifies the ungodly his what? FAITH is counted for Righteousness. Even as David (OT) describes the Blessedness of the man unto whom God Imputes Righteousness Without Works. And Blessed is the man unto whom God Will Not Impute sin.
Comparing Roman's 4 and James 2 we either have a contradiction OR James is talking about a completely different topic. God's word has No contradictions so I'm going with the latter. Again, James is talking Saved brothers and showing how our Faith is shown through good works and that those Good works will be rewarded in Eternity. Just because the Brethren are commended for our good works does Not mean we are Saved by them. Paul clearly taught that our works will be judged in fire and we will either recieve or lose rewards, But "he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire". Jesus Christ said he who Believes on Him has both done the Will of the Father (John 6:40), is Not Condemned (John 3) and Shall Not Come into Condemnation but has passed from Death unto Life (John 5). Paul wrote in Galatians "the scriptures foretold that God would Justifiy the Heathens, Through Faith". Without Faith it is impossible to please God.
God made the plan for Salvation Simple. So Simple a child can understand. Paul even calls the Gospel "the simplicity that is in Christ Jesus" but man will do what man does best and make it complicated. Hope this helps. ❤
@@SonoftheKing316 we cant stick square pegs in a round hole James is talking about justification so is Paul they absolutely are not compatible, its a simple fix and yes God's word is the truth just some is the truth for just Israel and some is the truth for the body ! James was writing to who? the body where there is no Israel but 1 new man? !

which of the 12 tribes are you from? James is to Israel before the body was revealed to Paul ! Pauls writings are to and for the body !

The book of James is directed at people who already have believed and trusted in Christ. Everyone’s favorite line faith without Work is dead, is not concerning a loss of eternal salvation, it is showing that faith without works benefit to no one. It does not help anyone. Works hard to be of benefit to other people which may draw them to believe in Christ.

but he was not talking to members of the body of christ he was talking to Israel under the gospel of the kingdom after atonement but before the conversion of saul and the revelation of the body of christ !
