Love to know your thoughts on Joker 2! Was there something you saw that I might have missed? I was so excited about the musical angle, but I have to admit, I felt a bit let down. For me, it didn’t fully capture the magic or intensity I was hoping for. Curious if anyone else felt the same!

Definitely felt the same. I love musicals and comic book stuff in general and I just wasn't feeling it. In the past few months I have re-watched Chicago, which I thought this movie would be more like, and SuckerPunch, I know this is a weird one, but also a movie with weird fantasy scenes. Joker felt so lackluster in comparison. It may be my fault for going in with "Chicago" expectations. Enjoyed your video!

@@AnnaLeeBee71424I always compare movie musicals to Chicago so don’t worry. It’s because it’s a great example for others to learn from. Another movie movie musical I love is Fiddler on the Roof. 🤣

Wow, I'm really glad I watched your detailed commentary about this. What a bummer. I'll wait until it's streaming to check it out. PS Your lipstick and blazer? Stunning combo!! :)

Haha thank you! I was trying to be a little on theme.

I think the worst part is I was genuinely enjoying the movie and didn’t get the hate. But I think the moment that court explosion happened and the last 30 minutes played out it ruined the entire thing

I’m so sorry to hear that. Some thing I noticed after I edited my review was how important Mr. Puddles was to Arthur. When editing I started to notice that Mr. Puddles was even in his fantasies. So maybe that’s why Arthur chose to be himself instead of continuing being joker.
