The Kybalion is a great book, however there's some contradictions. Infinite Mind just means the Consciousness of our being which is all that exists here and on other planets.
The Alls true nature is non dual, aka non duality. That means all is one, there's nothing outside of the all, the all is experiencing itself through the Universe, we are the All experiencing itself.
The coolness of kybalion is after you learn about it you understand more about everything. And it doesn't even conflict with both religion or science. It just works with it harmoniously. It's mind boggling.

After all, we can only perceive the world through our sensory organs and everything, in the end, just exists inside our minds. Some of those events are axiomatic and others result from the interaction and combination of basic sensory inputs

It is divided into mind-moments, of which we experience around 40 per second. In Each mind-moment, a matrix of sensory input enters the mind through one of the 5 senses + thoughts. Those matrices of sensory inputs are sometimes called "dhammas" and are called "ultimate reality" in the sense that there isn't anything more general that a human can perceive. That is the very basis of your perceptual process

The Tao which can be spoken of is not the true Tao (Tao is often translated as "the way" but this isn't anywhere near a good description of it). Like you said, the All/Source/God cannot be fully understood by any human. We will always be limited in our assesment of it because we will always be immersed in it. There's really only two things that are impossible-for existence to cease and for anything to exist outside of the All, and as such nothing will ever be able to get a complete picture of It.
Underlying the Whole of the Universe is Ma'at, which is order, which can be represented in mathematics. Non physical waves (or sinusoids) of Thought vibrate and different frequencies, combining, harmonizing, making dissonance, thus creating Form.

If the universe isn't the "the all" that means it is a complete and utter illusion and has no true existence. so it's as real as a mirage. That would mean the only thing that truly exists is "the all" or God. Does this not prove non-duality. I do agree with you is it silly to call oneself God. Due to this reason, it is silly to call oneself anything as me, you, and everything is ultimately non-existent.
Well yes but also no. The Kybalion touches on some of this stuff later but I'll do my best to describe it as I understand it with examples. It's all very well to proclaim that the universe is mental and everyone exists only as a thought or dream and therefore nothing is real. It doesn't, however, change your reality. You will still have to eat, sleep, live and experience the universe as it is. You are still beholden to the universe's laws. It may be a truth but it will bring you no success or happiness if you treat the universe as if it isn't real. It would be like a character in a novel realising that they are an authors creation and declaring that their universe isn't real, they are still subject to the plot of the story and can be killed, made happy or whatever else at the whim of the author. One should instead should acknowledge that the universe is mentally created and doesn't exist permanently in the same way as The All, but, from there what one should do is understand the reality they live in as best as they can. Through understanding the laws and forces that effect the reality that we live in, one can make it suit them as best as possible. This isn't achieved if one proclaims the universes lack of existence and proceeds to treat it as so. Additionally, can you really say that a thought or idea doesn't exist? The Kybalion later states that of course eventually our lives, our proceeding lives and existences and the universe will eventually end. What then? Well the thoughts and mental landscape that is the universe rejoins The All in full. Does that then mean that after that you, me and the universe are truly dead, or further simply no longer exist? No, rather it is infinitely expanded into The All. Persisting as a subtle, almost nonexistent (in comparison to the infinite) idea that will pervade all others. An example of this could once again be given in a character made by an author. They might have a series of novels in which this character exists, their actions, beliefs and fate simulated/ created by the author within the context of the narratives universe. For all intents and purposes this was a person to the author. A created one completely limited by the finite mind of its creator, but a person nonetheless. What happens once the author ends the series and the character and its universe no longer exist as a constant thought in the authors mind? Does the author forgot all the perspectives and consideration they went through trying to consider how this "fake" person thought? The answer is no. It is of course still a part of the author in a sense, even if it is subconscious, the character will persist as a part of the creator and the creators experience. In a sense you could say that the universe and all of us don't exist. But we should live as if we do and presumably will always persist in the form as part of The All, which we agree within Hermeticism to be the only thing that exists. For example if the character in the novel is going through a particular hard time in the story seeing that what's going on is an illusion would be of benefit. Also when the universe is truly and expreientialy seen as an illusion it is because one has seen that 'the all' is all that exists (non-duailty). And seeing "the all",God ,tao emptiness is all there is and that this universe is an illusion is the ultimate freedom.

I think that’s fine in a sense if it’s used as you describe it, as a sort of “when things are overwhelming remember the big picture” tool. As long as one doesn’t use it as an excuse to become apathetic, disinterested and or otherwise retreat from the world; as many (including myself at one point) are want to do upon realising that.

I really love his work. He makes sense to me. I was popped into this stupid level of "wokeness" last year and now I'm obsessed, insatiable and a little pissed that no one told me how weird the world really is a long time ago. I can't go back and unlearn or unsee. I honestly feel like I'm living in an alternate reality now. There are a few simple concepts that I think I am beginning to grasp. 1) this world we are in here is probably modeled after something similar but much better in the heavely realms. I gathered this idea because Satan and his legion of fallen angels were the ones who taught humans about sinful pleasures and since man was so easy to tempt, here we are. 2) we aren't going to be just spirits floating around in space no matter how fun or liberating that might seem. 3) everything has a pattern. We've been living in a series of cycles with the ultimate goal of an atonement of sorts and the final cycle is almost complete. I think. 4) because people are so egocentric, its been easy for Satan to pedal esoteric gnosticism. We always wants more knowledge and power. I say the Kabbalah, as a whole, was never meant for most humans. I feel like its akin to an 5 year old trying to run the inner workings of a business. 5) we aren't Gods. There is hierarchy in heaven just like here. God has a divine council government and we are going to be his family once he weeds out the people that don't want to love him. 6) astral travel is dangerous because you are leaving your body empty and at risk. 7) not all people all who they say they are. Many "Jews" aren't really Jews. You seem to be locked in a negative loop of thinking, a belief that the All is unknowable. To know the laws that govern reality and know the interconnectedness of All things IS to represent "God" in the awareness of "how" the All could be and what is not will be. The ratios of the human physiology correlate with the laws that govern the Universe.
The Kybalion contradicts itself to a degree, but Consciousness is what Infinite Mind is. Source is non dual in its true nature, that means we are one Consciousness experiencing itself.
Why didn't you just read from the Kybalion here instead of repeating it with 80% accuracy? It is said very well and clear there.. You excuded some very important things, while adding wrong or irrelevant ones. :-\

Sorry, Tom, but this video seems full of crap. How can you say that this universe, and these atoms are mindless/not intelligent? While you yourself are an expression of this universe, with the same qualities as the said universe. The explanation of procreation is also redundant - every atom you've acquired through your life from this universe, when you'll die, you'll have to give it back. You're not taking them anywhere, it will return to the soil from which it came. So in the end, nothing is lost and nothing is gained. Just the form changes inbetween. You're both the creator and the creation simultaneously, and so is everyone else. You are the "all" that is constantly changing yet which is never changed. It is redundant to call yourself god, because in language, we speak in contrasts. Go inward, experience it for yourself and not from some old book. Peace.

So since God is actually a someone and not a something, is this creator a personal God who can hear our prayers and supplications? Or is it more like every now and then he sends messages thru prophets etc. that give us certain guidelines?

The all isn't the universe, for its what the universe is composed of that is closer to the all.
Sorry, Tom, but this video seems full of crap. How can you say that this universe, and these atoms are mindless/not intelligent? While you yourself are an expression of this universe, with the same qualities as the said universe. The explanation of procreation is also redundant - every atom you've acquired through your life from this universe, when you'll die, you'll have to give it back. You're not taking them anywhere, it will return to the soil from which it came. So in the end, nothing is lost and nothing is gained. Just the form changes inbetween. You're both the creator and the creation simultaneously, and so is everyone else. You are the "all" that is constantly changing yet which is never changed. It is redundant to call yourself god, because in language, we speak in contrasts. Go inward, experience it for yourself and not from some old book. Peace.
