  • Today Nic is back recording and editing! Russ will disassemble the gear train between the engine and transmission along with removing the clutch which is just as destroyed as we thought.

The Bentley retractable roof is a very impressive piece of technology. Completely locks/unlocks without any human interaction. Fine piece of engineering, thanks for highlighting it.

There are also many late model cars with such a complex roof design. But not so many this big!
Nic did a great job rebuilding this one. Thanks for watching and supporting us.

I am trying to pull out my bell housing with the engine still in the car and it will not budge, I'm not keen on using pry bars. Do you have any other suggestions.

Verify all of the bolts are out. Clutch cable is removed from the release transfer lever. I'll look tomorrow at the one I'm doing and see if there is anything else I can think of

@@EuropeanAutoCraftStudios can you confirm that there are 12 nuts/studs that need to be removed from the edge of the bell housing.

There are the 12 nuts and bolts. The bottom gear for the transmission input shaft, and the clutch linkage. There will be a thrust washer that will most likely fall into the bell housing when you Remove it.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I've removed everything, I think it is simply the studs have corrosion which is binding things.
