Thank you so much for this video because my hotspot from Radioddity just arrived in the mail TODAY (Ordered Dec 2nd)! Your video was posted at the perfect time.
Great video and very well done and explained. Thank you for doing this. I’m still very new to DMR and have issues with the hotspot I won at a club meeting. It keeps crashing but it uses the other version instead of this one. I’ve given up on mine and was very frustrated. I’ll have to look at this one. Both have their advantages and disadvantages but I like the ease of Wires-X. 73
I bought a similar hotspot and it can't connect to wi-fi. I bought a second hotspot and it does the exact same thing. Both have a red light. Can someone help me? Thank you.
Look for a wifi network called Pi-Star or Raspberry Pi, and connect. In your web browser, enter this IP in the address bar: 192.168.50.1 The username is: pi-star Password: raspberry Now, you can get into the configuration to enter your wifi information. After that, log back into your normal wifi connection. For more information, please visit> forum.pistar.uk search.app/A3FKpGQe434v4Adv6

@uwayzofoster4753 I'm very glad to help. Have fun with your hotspot, and don't forget to back up your configuration. Happy Holidays 😊

@@W6IWN_Radio Thank you very much for answering me, but the problem is that when searching for wi-fi, it doesn't show me the pi-star on both hotspots.
