Kia Ora Legion. Seen as we are still waiting on updates for the current Crusader Kings series and ARK is on hiatus while I grind out the next section I've managed to find a bit of time to fit in NEO Scavenger. A survival game that I've wanted to take a look at for a long time. The series will be running every second day along side Cata and this a one done, if we perish the series ends with it so let's hope for a fortuities run.

Not sure how much this helps, but if you ever lose that duffel bag, you can actually equip plastic bags as backpacks, also, by shift dragging the paper scraps offa the stack, you can read the different tips.
Kia ora rycon heres a few tips, South of the start zone there is a lovely cave which givea you the ability to get perma power is amazing You can make am infinite shank just keep combining a shank with clothing, rags and tinfoil for amazing wardrobe in a small space Start a tannin tea farm around the camp its absolutely beautiful cash ... if you took botany 😑

NEO Scavenger! Man, that's a game I haven't seen in a long time. The only thing I can really remember is that bottles are your friend, hope you make it to the endings before your demise!

The higher quality of the base components during crafting translates to higher quality crafted items. For instance, if you use a glass shard that is at 5% condition, the spear you make will be likewise be very low condition. However, if you use a glass shard that is at near perfect condition, your crafted spear will be much higher condition. Split your components out of the stack to see the relative condition of each constituent component and choose the best ones for crafting.

soup cans are just a much better version of the saucepan as you can store items in it and is smaller. they both do the exact same thing but you can only boil 1 water at a time in a can, rather than 3 with the pot. only need to carry one too
Was so glad when I saw you had started a series in Neoscavanger and that other people are enjoying it also! Was hoping you would make this one day, really excited to watch the story and your survival journey unfold! By the way you can make a carrying sack out of the sleeping bag and you can put that (as well as the plastic bags) on your back. Really hope the series does not end too soon - it can be tough to survive in this unforgiving world.
I love this game so much, i really wish we got a sequel or at least an expansion for it. I sunk in hundreds of hours in it about 9 years ago? It's been so long yet i forgot so little about it. Absolute masterpiece.
Love NEOscav, your channel's style goes really welll with the game I think. One big tip: that yellow liquid isn't oil, it's corn-a-cola. Not as thirst-slaking as water but a surefire way of getting hydrated in a pinch if you aren't sure if the water you're carrying around is clean and you don't have time to boil it. Also, be sure to keep the Grayling mission on the backburner, it's very much endgame stuff (as in it's where the game ends jej)
much recommend neo scavenger extended my dude... very worth while adds a bit more more places north in the unused areas of the map and can allow you to get a character to max in every skill if you start correctly and survive long enough to do so...
It's amazing to see that someone picked up this old gem of a game :) THnx for such an amazing entertainment after work. TIme to catch up with the series. Also small thing: Consider getting a mod :Neo Scavenger Extended. It adds use to a lot uf useless skills from vanila game, adds couple more items. and the most important for me: it fixes a lot of bugs that makes this game way too easy. ( like wolfmen will start to sneak at last. And with myopia spoting them in the night withotu any lightsource is a death sentence :> )
Beat this game quite a few times but the utter brutality and randomness fo failure always makes me boot it back up for 'One More Run..." now and again. Alongside CDDA, this is one of my favorite games to take a whack at.
Oh boy, i'm realy happy to see this game on your channel! Shame you plan to do this only once, but i get why. I have played "few" hours myself, so i have few tips, on the mechanics. I will put them lower if you don't want them. No spoilers, only tips ;) That dufflebag is an arm strap slot. It is rare and great find! You can wear backpack wit it. That flip-flop can slip at any moment. It likes to do that in combat When you craft something the game takes the lowest condition stat from all components. For example, you can take 100% binoculars and 10% string, and you get 10% "binocs with string" so check for best when you craft a weapon of something like that. Bottles are life. Try to have like 1-2 liters of volume. Try to have some clean water on you. Thirst is deadly, and finding water source and fire after night rest can take long time. And it is good to clean your wounds. Black marsh is bad. Check for money value of items. There is trade in this game. If you read those i hope you will find them usefull. Have fun with neoscav!
Just started watching the video, the game looks really interesting kind like a really roleplay heavy cross between an old crpg and a point and click adventure game.

Small tip - you can use sleeping bag in crafting menu to create makeshift bag. This will help you a lot with inventory management :)

I love that moving up a hill still improves your visual range when you're myopic xD
I guess it's down to seeing blurry distant objects you won't pick up detail but can probably identify a forest from ruins of a city
