This video was super helpful! I’ve been looking for a budget-friendly action camera for my adventures, and the list here gave me some great options for 2024. I especially liked the features of the AKaso Brave 4 pro camera . Thanks for sharing this video.....
brave 7 le is just for people who want to look cool, real adventurers don’t care about dual screens or accessories, they just want rugged and simple, not fancy.
akaso brave 7 le has IPX7 but that’s useless unless you're in a pool, anyone serious about water sports needs a camera that can go deeper without a case, not just 1 meter.
akaso ek7000 pro’s audio quality is like listening through a tin can, you'd have to dub over any footage you take, pretty much makes it useless for vlogging.
i don’t get the hype for battery life, just carry extra batteries! it's not that hard. but people acting like 90 minutes isn't enough? what are you filming, a full movie?
anyone saying the v50x is the best clearly hasn’t used it in low light, the footage turns into a pixelated mess. how can anyone call that 'decent image quality'?
why does no one mention the fogging issues with waterproof cases? all these cameras are useless underwater after 10 minutes, especially the brave 4 pro.
akaso ek7000 pro is all hype, the image quality is basically the same as any cheap smartphone, just put your phone in a plastic bag and you got the same results.
sjcam sj8 pro deserves a 5 for price-to-performance, it’s literally trying to be a gopro but fails in every way. if you want real quality, you need to spend more, simple.
The probably work akaso...they have no customer support.. if you have an issue..you are on your own... Better off buying a hopro hero 5-8 fir under $100
brave 7 le's battery life is not that impressive, any action camera with dual screens will drain fast, bet it wouldn't last an hour in real action scenes
budget action cams' is such a scam, all these cameras are just slight variations of the same thing, none of them stand out, you get what you pay for - mediocre at best

Very nice and informative video. Thank you for sharing

Then what is good?
Yea what is a good one?
Did you test these cameras or no?
no one talks about the fact that akaso cameras are just knockoff gopros, but without any customer service. you break it, you're on your own.
the akaso brave 4 pro should be rated higher, no one needs 4k 60fps when you're just making youtube videos, 1080p is enough for literally everything.
akaso brave 7 le has IPX7 but that’s useless unless you're in a pool, anyone serious about water sports needs a camera that can go deeper without a case, not just 1 meter.

A full concert. While I'm on stage am I supposed to start changing batteries in front of the audience?

who cares about waterproofing to 40 meters? most people never go that deep. you’re more likely to crack the screen than use it underwater anyway.
sjcam sj8 pro deserves a 5 for price-to-performance, it’s literally trying to be a gopro but fails in every way. if you want real quality, you need to spend more, simple.
sjcam sj8 pro has bad battery life, i don’t get how anyone would rate it high, it barely lasts an hour, who can record anything in that time??
sjcam sj8 pro should be cheaper for what it offers, no one needs 4k unless you're a pro, and let’s be real, pros aren't buying budget cams anyway.
4k 30fps on the akaso brave 4 pro is garbage, anything below 60fps is unwatchable for action shots, everyone should just skip this one.
akaso brave 7 le is just overrated, dual screens? who even needs that, most people are just filming, not vlogging or taking selfies underwater.
akaso ek7000 pro’s waterproof case is a joke, i've seen dollar store cases perform better, you'll drown the camera if you take it diving
akaso v50x is literally the same as v50x from 2020, why are they selling the same camera and pretending it’s 'new'? no innovation, just a money grab.
budget action cams' is such a scam, all these cameras are just slight variations of the same thing, none of them stand out, you get what you pay for - mediocre at best
who even uses action cams anymore? just get a gimbal for your phone, much better video quality and stabilization than any of these cheap action cams.
action cams in 2024 are all outdated tech, you could get way better quality with a drone or even an ipad camera, why are people still buying these?
Didn’t realise you’re taking your iPad with you to film skiing and diving 😂
