We did the C2C two weeks after you, it was mostly dry up at the NSR. We only had a half hour of light rain on the entire route, the weather was immaculate!
@@thegreatexaggerator9077 that's great, it helps if the weather is good. I only had 2 wet days so not too bad really. Hope you loved the walk as much as I did.
I think we went the blue route - what I remember most is disappearing up to my thigh in a bog after the NSR. It later started to rain heavily as we reached Ravenscar - I was happy that at least it washed the peat off my leg!! lol. By the time we'd reached the road to Keld, the weather was bright and clear again and a couple from our party decided to swim in the river. Halfway there now.

It felt good to reach the halfway section and Swaledale is an absolutely beautiful area.

I was lucky as it wasn't really too boggy, though I did find the route down difficult to follow.
