This takes me back. In 1997 l came over to America to meet my aunties who at that time lived in Seattle. Moreen's husband Harold was a very keen collector of classic cars and had just bought a '41 Cadillac. Well cutting a long story short we went for a "short" drive as Harold put it and drove a 400 mile round trip to Hurricane Ridge and back! The car never missed a beat . My brother (who flew over from Australia to meet us) and l sat in the back. No wonder it was called the Rolls Royce of America. My honest opinion is that it would knock a RR into a cocked hat! (That may be an English expression!) Sadly all have passed except for Harold but the happy memories are still fresh.
Wonderful car. Best looking Cadillac ever, but those giant driving lights are a throwback to the early 30s and hide the beauty of the new era grille which was a breakthrough in styling for the '41 model. They draw attention away from an otherwise classic front end design. Never saw a '41 with that needless accessory!
Absolutely stunning Automobile. Must have been one of Cadillac’s flagship models.??? Color combo is perfect 👌 Love to know who owned this new Thanks for sharing all the details JT
This was when Cadillac and Packard were battling it out for the American luxury car market. To maintain sales during the Depression, Cadillac brought out the lower price LaSalle while Packard put the Packard name on the lower price 120. Some say this helped in the short run but diminished the image in the long run.
This was a very modern design in its, day. The very best. Total class. Stars , Athletes, Executives , all kinds of prominent people drove these. Young Ronald Reagan drove this model.
Thank you for this wonderful video!! 💕These classic cars are works of art. This video allows me to experience what I cannot afford!
I love old classics, this Caddy is one special car. Amazing they produced this in 1941 with the war on.

Wow, what a car. Attention to detail and sturdy material on these older gems was phenomenal.
Rich boys hobby. Glad to see them restored to original form......and driven vs only displayed at shows.
That is just a beauty, and not to mention the well maintained top of it when you don’t see one just like this one in perfect condition.
I can only imagine what it was like to pick this up from a dealer brand new in 1941. A different world back then
Beautiful 1941 Cadillac. 1st year of Hydromatic was 1940.
What a gorgeous gorgeous car! Perfect color for it too. The interior colors are amazing. So flawless.
Beautiful car with great touches. Really like to see cars like this well kept & driven.
Oh ! The sweet music of that shifting Hydramatic.

Awesome! I’d buy that car.

This is from the days when style existed. What we have now stylistically is absolute shit. And damn that thing runs quiet than my '91 Fleetwood coupe.
Most impressive!
I would have liked to have heard of more of the engine.
Nice video well done
Resemblance to Harley Earle's 1938 Buick
Magnificent.
It’s a beauty
What a beauty. A work of art. BTW, what is the town with the big rock, shown at the end of the drive?
Perfect!!!!!👍👍👍👍💯👍💯
How much did it go for?
Amazing car!
