He said that he drove almost around the clock and they pulled in 10 minutes late. He said that Alan could've been fined like fifteen or twenty thousand dollars if the label decided to punish him. Keith Whitley was a most wonderful singer and nice guy. I saw him in Pensacola, Fl. at a small bar. Just a few people there but he and his band sang like there were thousands. He took pictures with us. I will always remember thinking what a shame he was not getting the recognition he deserved

Lord! I grew up on Keith Whitley and this song has ALWAYS gotten to me. Keith was such a tortured soul and Lorrie was his saving Grace. Ultimately we lost Keith Whitley but his legacy is thriving and living on.❤️

Keith Whitley was a most wonderful singer and nice guy. I saw him in Pensacola, Fl. at a small bar. Just a few people there but he and his band sang like there were thousands. He took pictures with us. I will always remember thinking what a shame he was not getting the recognition he deserved

I enjoyed Keith's music and Lorie Morgan's beautiful voice singing duets with him. Saddened me greatly when he rode out for the last roundup. This unrefined song that he was working on was added to one of Keith's albums; it is touching and his son does it justice.

He looks so much like his dad and sounds more like him than I had expected. Couldn’t imagine how hard it would be growing up knowing how talented your dad was but have him taken away. Lori did a great job raising him, I know Keith is looking down proud.

I always loved Kieth Whitley's music, and maybe somewhere down the road we're related, since I come from Whitley's too(on the maternal side, in Middle Tennessee) , I hope, deep in my heart, that Kieth loved her. It's obvious her son does, and although I don't know any of them, I love her and her son, and Kieth. It must be hard, dealing with this type of loss. Lorrie Morgan has proven her strength. She is amazing, and makes my heart swell, listening to her when she sings. I believe her sons father would have been proud.

***** Lived many years with an alcoholic,I know exactly how it goes. It is documented that Keith Whitley had drank to the point of not breathing many times,not intentionally but because he was addicted and couldn't stop.
