Thanks for having me on the show! Always happy to help the little guys! So listen... Have your peeps call my peeps and we can discuss my overly brilliant ideas for your next, most epic ever, video! With my help we're going to make this channel a totes supah-star baby!! Mmmkay? Toodles!
I've watched a lot of brewer's videos, and you guys are my favorite. Way to be genuinely good, entertaining people. Thanks to y'all I had no headaches setting up my kegerator and getting a real tasty homebrew.
Genus Brewing keep up all of your great work you are doing you make many people understand iam a Canadian and I do like to drink beer and I do like the way you two do things on Genus Brewing have a wonderful night Domenico Monteleone
One thing I look for in the refrigerator is a top refrigerator / bottom freezer. Then normally you don't have the raised section in the bottom back of the fridge under which is the compressor. This gives you a bigger flatter area to place your kegs. Able to put 6 corny kegs into my not to big of a fridge that way!
I just got a mini keg to bring home brew to places more easily. Didn't realize it had a flow control faucet, it is sweet for mini kegs ultra short runs.
I love the perlick ss flow control one of my favorite upgrades on my dbl tap kegerator..I had so much foam problems b4 and also sticking from the forward sealing taps
My socks have guitars on them! KraZee. 🤪 I have a St Austell Proper Job (best commercial beer in the world) clone and a Citra ipa on my taps 👍🏾 but only party taps, you’ve made me want to upgrade! Good work as always.
Do you seal up the hole coming from the CO2 tank in any way? Grommet? Silicone? Spray Foam Insulation? Do you lose a lot of cool air around the gas tubing?
As long as the hole is close to the same size as the gas tube, we don't really worry too much about sealing it up. It doesn't have a marked effect on cooling ability.
A home brew supply store I suppose? I'd be willing to bet a tubing store (we have one in town called House of Hose) Would have something similar as well.
Usually I just run co2 through 5/16 x 9/16 vinyl since it's thick and easy to clamp - EJ bev has a gas tubing that works well too but it's quite a bit more expensive.
I am wearing blue and teal socks, so I have my Co2 tank in the fridge, is that good or bad, and why didn't anyone tell me I needed so much line for my tap, why is my tap dripping why are you guys so much easier to follow than everyone else, where are you located! Thanks for being easy to understand!
Sweet sock color! CO2 in the fridge is OK but you lose a little bit from it because the gas is denser You must have bad draft line influences in your life Logan's beard carries at least 35% of the team and also we talk to people about this stuff all day err day We are located in Spokane, Washington And you're welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Genus Brewing thank you for your reply I'm heading to the brewshop to get some more line.. Yes Logan's beard is glorious and I am super jealous that he fits inside the fridge sadly I do not and it is super hot in el paso... thanks again I enjoy your channel!
Have a question for you two hippies have a kegerator I get non-stop foam. Change the hose for 7 ft didn't help at all now it's belching. Can you help me with parts to fix it CO2 tank is fine regular is fine for CO2 just need the tap spout and lines I think. Tired of drinking foam If you can send me a link on what I should buy the greatly appreciated.
Old video? Sure, but anyway, which would you prefer and why, standard barb fittings for the CO2 side of things or duo-tight? I’m seeing a lot of people in other parts of the world using keg land in line secondary regulators with duo tight push connect fittings and am thinking of going that route. Thoughts?
Simple and straight-forward. I really like that you showed how to set up commercial couplers as well as ball locks. Cheers guys!

Good call! This fridge was free so there wasn't much of a choice, but the bottom freezer is a good idea :)

We fell in love with them for a very similar reason - we used them on a self-contained portable system with a short draw and never looked back :)
I love the perlick ss flow control one of my favorite upgrades on my dbl tap kegerator..I had so much foam problems b4 and also sticking from the forward sealing taps
A follow up would be nice showing you guys changing kegs and best practice for running cleaning and sterilising solution through your lines .
Great idea! We will make sure to get that out soon.

If you got party taps the most expensive bits are out of the way!
Great video guys! I would love it if you did a video on building an at home bar tap system (keg-o-rator to a tap in a bar or wall)!!!
Oh and the keg is located in an adjacent room not under the bar... 😉
Its in the works! We have something very similar planned (although it may take a few months to get out)
You guys have me side tracked right now. I was suppose to be looking for a fast ferment-able beer lol. Loved your fast beer videos.
Our plan is to do more this summer!
good video lads, i'm just building my own one at the moment so the information is great, cheers
Glad to hear!
Awesome kegerator guys had fun watching your video keep them coming Cheers 🍻!!!!
No Socks! But I'm very interested in that tubeN and Iv already interested in the flow control faucets! That faucet video had me 🤤 Cheers
It's good stuff!

where can you buy the band clamps with the plastic wings????ed

Black and red, the light bulb!! 😂😂
Apparently that's what happens when you sit in a fridge for too long... :p
Genus Brewing learn something new everyday lol

Beer is delicious
I agree

White with black toes. Irish red on tap? Need a good abv guys
Please tell me you're wearing sandals with them! Irish reds are bomb. They need to exist more :p
Our purple potato irish red will be on tap soon! (Meant to have it for st paddies but it wasnt quite ready)
Genus Brewing. Lol had purple spuds last year.
No sir, no socks, naked beer drinking and video watching.
Sounds like you'll need at least one sock soon...
White with a blue stipe...😁🎂
👍
Do you guys have a preference on keg styles?
We use both, but generally prefer the commercial style because there are fewer parts that can break down :0
see ya next time :]
Grey.
Hawt
He looks like a leprechaun in that fridge.
That's actually 45% of his DNA
So I guess I'm 55% Sasquatch? Does this mean I'm the first Squatch-Leprechaun hybrid?...really feeling the love guys.
