    You make this look so simple! You both also seem pretty chill and fun to hang out with.

    Just now finding this video. Great stuff. I used to color my lines with sharpies but always seem to wear off, or, my eyes are gettin' old. Now I attach different colored zip ties.

    How do yall feel about using that food grade silicon tubing for your beer lines? Seems like that would hold up better than the vinyl stuff + impart less off flavor in your beer.

    you fellows know how to adjust the thermostat on a kegerator? Mine, at below the lowest setting freezes my beer (34 degrees) Any advice?

    Do the gnome live in there?

      Gnomes require a more temperate climate to survive. When he's in there, it's like an Alaskan cruise for us non-gnomes.

    what kind of clamps are you using? I'm changing a bunch tomorrow & where can I get them? are they reusable?

    • @GenusBrewing
      @GenusBrewing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The liquid line clamps were oetiker stepless clamps and the gas line were worm gear clamps. Most should be available at a hosing store or brewing supply store.

    hey what do u guys use to soak the parts ..PBW?

    • @GenusBrewing
      @GenusBrewing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually we use PBW - this time we used Alkaline Wash from Craftmeister (national chemicals) just because we had some extra.

    Logan looks like he's doing hacking from on top of a lift in Mission Impossible. Meanwhile Petahhh is tweaking his gadgets ready for thah laydizzzz.
    Do you guys still get the thrill when you put your sankey couplers in? I pretend like I'm hooking up a fuel line to an X-Wing. Hey, I still like stuff, ok.

      It was about that epic. Charlie's Angles showed up shortly after for a quick pint with Sean Connery

    I just replaced my lines with the same stuff, but now on the first pour my beer always smells and tastes like the beer line, plastic sort of smell. Did you experience anything like that?

    • @roccoco58
      @roccoco58 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m getting ready to replace my lines for the first time. I saw many people complain about taste and smell after replacing lines. I think it has to do with the lines you purchase. You want lines that are PVC and BPA free. Also antimicrobial. I ordered mine from morebeer.com. Will let you know how they work out. I saw a lot of people complaining about taste on the ones from Amazon so I avoided those.

    Instead of sharpies, just use different color wraps of tape.
