Hi Joerg, I just wanted to let you know the huge positive impact you have. I've watched your videos for years, even though I've never fired a bow or shot a slingshot. I just appreciate the entertainment and joy that they bring.
This week, I'm staying with my parents in law. We don't speak a common language, so communicating is manageable but sometimes difficult. One evening, we spent an hour or more watching your videos. We couldn't stop laughing about your brilliant and crazy contraptions (while also appreciating your ingenuity, of course!).
You entertain and bring people together with your videos, which is no small feat. I look forward to all of your uploads.
And one suggestion: this week we visited the Campus Galli near Messkirch in your home country of Germany. Artisans live there like Gauls, creating tools, building, cooking and surviving as people would have done 1200 years ago. I think you would enjoy it, and the publicity would help them hugely after the impacts of the pandemic.
    So, again, thank you.

Hey, everyone, please thank Joerg extra in all his videos, remember, he does all the speaking parts twice, in German and English, which I can imagine is a total PITA. You just put your piece into plastic bag, put some oil in, close the bag and leave it for few hours, then take it out, wipe it with a rag and let it dry on the sun. This way oil will suck into wood even deeper.
