Returning My Bike To It’s Home Santa Cruz UCSC is the MTB Birthplace to my Megatower/ Hero Loam Day!

Last time I was out here in these parts of Santa Cruz, was when I met TH-camr’s Mo & Hannah from Awesome MTB & we all rode and had a blast... tho my GoPro failed me hard in the wet weather & dead gimbal batteries didn’t help either..🔋 😂
Those days were the Dawn to my TH-cam channel starting and all the struggles and trails/tribulations to getting my channel going has gotten me this far, & now I’m finally back here to see if I’ve learned anything since way back then... spoiler alert.. 🤫
I wasn’t super stoked on the low lighting and shaker footage in spots, so it was hard to decide if I really wanted to put the vid out.
Sometimes we gotta remind ourselves why we ride and do what we do & today was one of the most fun days we’ve had all year! So for me I think it’s worth sharing for the story at least, even if the footage wasn’t up to par in my eyes. The story always wins over perfect POV footage in my books 📚
Happy to have come back to UCSC & gotten to ride with some incredible people! We even helped those who were in need when we stumbled upon some fellow mtbers struggling on the side of the trail.. The Kid who had a broken collarbone was able to get out of the woods and to the road safely to be picked up and taken to a hospital 🏥 so we were happy to help!
~All in all I’m thankful we were able to come out and make these memories that we can cherish for a lifetime ✨🤘🏼🚲💨
