  • Emirates has brought a bomb to a knife fight with their ongoing onslaught, which we dare to say, their competitors are not ready for. They are plotting a massive takeover of the World's aviation industry and will become the top airline for international and domestic air travel worldwide. So, what crazy strategy is Emirates Airlines using to win in commercial aviation?

There is no comparison of services between an American airline company and Emirates. Quality is far better and passager is considered as a guest instead of a money maker. Even, use of A380 on longest route is a real plus unmatched by any other US company.

To correct/clarify: things like luxury meals and champagne have been available in Business class for close to 20 years now. Their Economy class certainly rivals most Premium Economy offerings. Where Emirates really shines technologically is its still industry-leading ICE infotainment system. And they bet on large aircraft like the A380 when no one else dared. Despite its tough economics, I think the industry will come to regret that it didn’t support the A380 enough. One more thing to add is the incredible seamlessness of the airport experience in Dubai and how they have mastered the customer experience process as a whole. Once they have Premium Economy on most of their aircraft I think we will see EK’s fortunes improve even more.

    Sources?
    United is not a Competator
    United is US Market Focused
Emirates is Long Haul / Ultra Long Haul focused on international travel and becoming a world hub.
They launched a codeshare agreement , subject to gov approval. This is not uncommon in the aviation domain . Many airlines have codeshare agreements with each other including Emirates.
It's how airlines expand their market reach. If Emirates really was interested in making a mark , I'd argue that they submit their application to an Airline Alliance.
They could fit well with Star Alliance since they already have codeshare agreements with Copa, South African, TAP and now United.

Emirates is tops, their food is so, so delicious. They go to lengths for that Arabian hospitality experience. Been watching this air traveller's youtube channel, he flys around often and some of the fare some airlines serve, makes you think better bring your own sandwiches or rolls. During daytime, humans need a meal every 3 to 5 hours, some of these flights are 5 to 12 hours. So airlines must do their best to serve good food!

Although Emirates is a great airline flown with them on numerous occasions the A380 is terrific they are now ripping off customers from Uk to Asia with their prices over doubled in the last 5 months and stopping loads of people from travelling thru sky high costs ( pardon the pun) other airlines also are doing the same. So I think in the long run they will lose out. People accept price rises now and again but not at rip off prices. Emirates should start looking at the bigger picture this is one dis gruntled ex. customer.

Is it because the choice of menu card it offers is real? Or is it because it offers a very real choice of beverages for every taste and persuasion up to and including very good liquor? Having flown Emirates after a harrowing experience with KLM (that includes LYING & RUDE staff, corrupt and dishobest practices) I can honestly say, that this airline is EXCELLENT, and that its western counterparts that are trying to cut corners in the customers' backs are no longer able to compete favourabky because they simply LIE about customer service

Like is in Germany, Emirates does not fly to Berlin (if not mistaken) simply because of limits set by the authorities on the number of cities the airliner should fly to. This could be looked at as a strategy of protecting and promoting national airlines and keeping them afloat in the competitive aviation business.

Emirates loses money on their flights. That's why they can offer a better service for the price

Sounds like Emirates paid for this... EK is not the best Airline in the world. Period. They may have the best economy class in the world though. Qatar, Etihad and Singapore can beat them in upper cabins, cabin crew and even meals on certain routes.
Interline is an old trick in the book and codeshare between United and EK isn't such a big deal. Has the OP heard of Star Alliance or Sky Team with 20 partners interlining together ?!
Videos such as these need to be done without bias and much research and less, fanboying !

Every other Airline better be worried, alright. I mean, posting over $1,2b in PROFITS, just recently, with that fleet size?....Impressive!
