    Just purchased this to get back into painting miniatures! I am excited to work on this tomorrow! Hope mine turns out as good!

    Not bad, especially for me as a beginner. I would've appreciate some more turn around shots of the mini during the "pause here" sections so I could see additional views though. (For example on the part where we apply the tan to the wings I cannot see the underside)

    Great intro. Thanks!

    Be sure to thin your paints. It's generally better to basecoat using two thin coats, and some of the paints in the kit are rather thick. Thinning isn't necessary for the dry brush steps. You could probably get away with using the washes undiluted.

    Can you please either repaint another one of these using the (official) Dungeons and Dragons paint set or suggest which colors to choose from this D&D set to replace the colors you’ve used here in this video?

    Just finished mine using the tutorial, the paints were a little hard to work with as they were super dry but the beast looked amazing in the end

    What ratio should we dilute the sepia wash?

    Was half way through when the second half of the paints were play dough :< Any idea if these paints are sold separately?

      the numbers on the back of the box are the Vallejo product codes for their game color range of colors.

    Quick and probably simple question....paints in the kit need to mix with water or already mixed and ready to paint?

      @nobodydoesanything381 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The washes are already mixed

      The paints are ready to use. Though some do prefer to thin their paints and washes, that is personal preference.

    Do you not prime or put laquer on after applying coats?

    • @gobblinal
      @gobblinal ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The figure is pre-primed, but yes, afterwards some sort of sealant is needed. I prefer a couple coats of gloss and then Testor's Dul-cote to finish it.

      @@gobblinal thanks, I know nothing about the relationship between all these different coats, so this helps!

    The is a decent tutorial but I think things could’ve been explained better. You never said to put the heavy sienna on the lower part of the wings but then said it was supposed to be that color when doing the tan. Also you said to put heavy skin tone on the bottom of the paws then put it on top of the front paws and not at all on the back paws from what I can tell
