so glad you were able to paint the mini with us! Also, congratz on painting your first mini :) Hope you will stay on that path with us! Sending kisses to your little friend!
For someone trying to teach customers, this video is a rough one to adapt from. Previous videos did a great job of just using the supplies from the kits. Recommending different brushes is great for a regular tutorial, but when my students only have the multi-purpose and detail brushes from the kit, I need to know how to work with that. As a request, it would also be nice if Wizkids provided a written tutorial with steps for the LGS to use for any classes that they hold and run.
Thank you! As someone who is completely new to this hobby, I was a little put off when they started breaking out brushes that weren't in the kit. I mean, for me it was just a quick drive to the art store, but when it says on the box, "everything you need," then in the official tutorial they start breaking out 2 or 3 additional brushes...well, thats kinda weak.
Wow, this tutorial is nothing like the one from the last paint kit I got. Wizkids needs to step it up. The woman's accent is so thick I can't understand half of what she's saying and she's not even using the same brushes or tools that come with the kit. Wtf Wizkids.
On the back of the box for this product it says "everything you need". Well, clearly you didn't agree with that statement because you 1) use brushes not included in the kit and 2) use paint bottles with droppers not included with the kit. Please reupload yourself actually using the kit that Wizkids sells us.
We do not tell in the video we will be using the kit, we use colors that were included in the kit though. We just show people our way to paint them to achieve the boxart effect. Bottle with droppers aren't needed to achieve this effect, it's just that producers sell the colors we use in a different format. They are the same paints.
@@denofimagination OK you don't say that you are using the kit, but Wizkids links to this video on the box that they sell which advertises "everything you need..." I returned the kit to my local game store, which is too bad because it's not good for their business when Wizkids sells misleading products. I am sure other unhappy customers watched this video and also returned or tried to return their kits and were left with a bad experience. This could be solved by uploading a new video using the actual kit rather than your professional studio tools.
@@sigmapath1935 I understand your point of view and I am very sorry for your negative experience. The Wizkids were informed about the issue and if we ever do another tutorial video we will try to take your words into consideration. Thank you
Thanks for all the tips! they really helped, as this is my first ever mini!
good luck!!!!!!!
The tip about darkening the area around the eyes made a huge difference for my miniature. Thanks.
Glad to help!
Thanks for the great video I was up all night painting my first miniature :)
Now I have a little red toad friend

thank you for your attention. We will bring more consideration towards the issue you are talking about
Please edit the video so we can learn with the brushes that were included with the purchase. This feels like false advertising.
Where is the music from? I really like it!
How do you decide where to put the purple splotches?
it's kinda random but it's always at flexion
Do you need to put matte varnish after?
yes, all of the minis should be varnished after painting :)
Why does the mini have an uneven number of toes? Four on left foot and three on right?
I guess it's a question to the Wizkids' 3D sculptors 😅
BRUH I DIDN'T NOTICE THIS
