Nice video. It was interesting to see how yours was different from the tutorial.
One thing that I was hoping would be shown was the final gluing of the figure to the base. I know it isn't part of painting the figure but it would have been helpful to see what you used.
This is an awesome figure to be beside all the D and D
Wow! Great work, and thx for tutorial :)
My pleasure!
I got the Chimera yesterday with a beholder, jabberwocky, and the dragon born paladins.
Enjoy!!
I really dig your color for the rams body, I was having a bitch if a time deciding and yours looks so good.
Thank you
Hey HOP- Cool video as usual- Curious, why did you choose to prime this black, with it already being pre-primed grey? Were you just looking to have a black undercoat for your colours?
Yes. That’s pretty much the reason. I also love how black primer really helps along the shadows.
Really enjoyable vid as usual. I notice you always seem to prime with a high gloss black. Any particular reason?
Just a personal preference. I like what black does as an undercoat as far as assisting with shadows. If I’m doing a model that is purely white or a much brighter color I would probably refrain from black. The Deva, for example, I painted out of the box using the stock primer that it came with.
@@House0fPaint great, thank you. I appreciate the reply
@@House0fPaint Why the gloss black in particular?

This is awesome! Thank you for the help
Wait is the chimera out?
Yes! Paint Night Kit, though. Been waiting on this for a while. Don’t usually get the paint night kits but couldn’t pass up.
