Every great golfer has tilt at impact. Moe Norman simplified the golf swing by establishing the proper tilt at address, making it easier to achieve impact.
In this video I discuss how to achieve the perfect tilt.
The Single Plane golf swing is not a quick fix golf technique. It is a system, beginning at address, that simplifies the most important moment of the golf swing - impact.
Starting at address on two planes where the arms hang straight down at address, the Conventional golf swing is complicated. Because the arms are hanging straight down, a conventional golfer must lift the body into impact creating stress on the back.
This upward movement to accommodate the two planes is unnecessary.
The Single Plane Golf swing simplifies the golf swing by eliminating the need for the upward movement by starting and impacting on the same plane.

I love how you teach. I just took up golf again after 17yrs, and found the normal swing hard on the knees. I am going to try Moe’s swing

I was definitely making this mistake. This makes a HUGE difference!! ... where was this instruction before? I must have missed it. Glad I caught this video!! Made a big difference in my game this morning, especially with the driver. The only thing I'd add to this, Todd, is make sure the shoulders stay square when you reach down to grip with the trail hand. I caught myself slightly opening my lead shoulder a few times.

Hey Todd, I just want to say thank you for all the free information you and Tim have produced to help golfers like myself. I bought a set of clubs earlier this year and shot well over 100. After many tutorial videos and nothing working, I luckily stumbled upon the single plane swing. After a few months of practicing and really trying my best to mimic Moe Normans swing I’ve finally broke 90 (shot a 89) yesterday! My next goal is to break 80 but I’m happy being a bogey golfer at the moment! I hope you guys visit New Jersey in the future so I can get a lesson and fine tune any mistakes I am making with the swing.

Thank you so much for posting all these videos. I got away from this swing for a little while but at 53 I don’t think you can find a better swing as you age. 🙏🏻

    Great. Thanks.
How do you work, with the single plane, a draw? A fade?

I noticed that after the tilt was applied, the palm of the right hand is almost pointing to the sky when gripping the club. I've also heard Moe mention "catching raindrops" a few times. Is this what he was referring to?

Is this method of the grip and tilt also used for irons, hybrids etc ???

Todd... I'm a SPer exclusively for 3 years. However, considering the side bend changes throughout the swing, how does the initial side bend affect the impact side bend?

Which comes first? forward bent or side tilt?

Great videos. I’m pulling most of my shots. Would that be side tilt or shoulder alignment being off? Thanks

Check to see if you are maintaining side bend through impact..been a real a-ha for me.
Check all good strikers looking at their shot “sideways.” That what Moe used to say

Where is the balance of the sole and orientation of the driver? Does it tilt more upwards to have the center of the head and sole of the club leveled exactly with the ball centered on the face?
Upwards tilt brings you closer to the ball. More outstretched and reaching and the hands then are lower to how the sole of the driver head (or any club for that matter) lies.

For me, coming out of my forward, tilt causes me to pull/hook. Coming out of my side, bend causes me to fade/slice it or miss left.
