    All the people on here complaining about the price of DW, crack me up... it’s no different than any other product, you generally get what you pay for, and if it’s not worth it to you, then so be it. Dan Wesson produces the most value added production model 1911’s on the market. I don’t own a TCP, but I do own the ECP in 9mm and it’s the finest, most accurate 9mm 1911 I have ever owned and shot. (I paid 1600 after taxes and shipping) Worth every penny in my book.

      Agreed, looking to get a ecp in 9mm. Have had my vbob 45 for 10 years or so, thing is sexy and shoots like a dream

      The trigger on the ECP by itself justifies the price it’s the best 1911 trigger I have ever shot and it’s not really close

    Great job on the review Justin! DW makes some of the finest production 1911's you can buy. In my opinion, you definitely get more bang for your buck when you buy one. Hey, if you like your Glocks, stick with them and stop complaining about the price. However, I will point out that you will spend a lot of $$ upgrading to get [your Glock] to group even close to the any of Dan Wesson 1911's out of the box.

    Thank you for your review. I also purchased the DW TCP great firearm. I noticed in you video looks like your pulling to the right just a little as you pull the trigger. The DW is very accurate. And you had some very tight groups. Have a great weekend Sir

    Want one so bad. Beautiful pistol

    Flat Black
    Light Rail
    8 + 1 45
    Solid Feed ramp for all hollowpoints
    Manual Safety
    Glass rod trigger
    Compact carry design
    Extremely grippy handle
    Lightweight design
    The only complaint I could find is not coming with Night sights, they probably figure you will mount your favorite sights on it anyway. This feels like the perfect option for someone in a 10 round only state.

    Agree with Justin. How I've always thought about guns in that they are just tools ...they ALLOW us to shoot more accurately IF we already have tnough shootig basics "mastered". All the so-called gun features on a gun won't do much good if the shooter doesn't shoot well with said gun. The gun doesn't make the shot...heh....the "1-inch grouping at 15 years" spec means nothing...heh...how often are we going to be shooting form a Ransom rest??? :))
    What i would have liked to have known is how the TCP differs fro the Specialist.....How Justin would compare it to an expensive Wilson Combat or Nighthawk...heh....

    My opinion.
    Dan Wesson is still stupid expensive. Great quality, probably the best, but Jesus man. Its a 1911 there are countless out in circulation, this particular model has some slight modifications but nothing completely ground breaking. I've also carried a commander size 1911 for years and that beaver tail, for a heavy set guy, was so abusive to my belly (Appendix). This model's beaver tail is bring back memories of having to slide my firearm over just to sit down. I'd rather put 1500 to 2000 on something else.
    Once again, my opinion.

    • @steveh7108
      @steveh7108 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I don't know what you've been shooting but it must be pretty low quality 1911's because Dan Wesson is probably about the best bargain there is when it comes to quality 1911.
      In my opinion everything cheaper then Dan Wesson is not great quality and many of the ones that are more expensive you're not gaining much more per dollar over the Dan Wesson.

    I just got mine in .45acp just 2 months ago. Its an amazing firearm. Not many rounds through it due to the shortage. But what I have shot has ran flawlessly. Also installed an olight green laser and flashlight mod perfect for my nightstand gun. 4th dan Wesson In my collection love them all.

    "Review"?
    It seems like all you were doing was reading a press release..

    • @JustinOpinionChannel
      @JustinOpinionChannel 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      People who write press releases get paid good money, and are considered not just talented but critical to the success of any information campaign, and so, since I wrote every word I'll take it as a compliment, even though I know you really wanted to hurt someone's feelings. That must suck, to try so hard to be mean and bitter, only to have it backfire and wind up being a nice compliment to the author. There actually is a full written review companion to this video - but I have a hunch that reading really isn't your specialty. ;-)
