    The face of these Ms look so good even with the factory chrome or white still look so gorgeous, hard to mess up but blacked out is a must(saying about the grill)

    Definitely nailed it with the explanation portion of the video. I initially looked at the KW V3'a but I think I'm going to opt in for the KW coilover sleeves instead just because I don't want to lose EDC. Plus I'm not planning to track my M5 so I'm mainly doing it to remove the front wheel gap.

      Appreciate that man! Yes, for your application the KW Sleeves are the perfect option. And i’d probably do the exact same thing if I had an M5 as well 👌🏼

    Very interesting spring Setup👌, I too think that the standard sprins on the KW are too soft and opted to switch them out for different ones also from on my Clubsport 3-Way with the KW Camber plate maschined to give an extra degree of camber to get a better setup on the 295 Semis in the front

    have, you always seem to make the cars great again.

    Went with the M performance HAS on my F82 with 12 & 15mm spacers. Never lost much ride quality and still have the full benefits of the Adaptive Suspension

    Car looks Sweet! Concerning the ride;
    The V3s are valved for progressive springs so unless the shocks were re-valved for your linear rates, the ride will be a lot less plush and bouncy...
    Do you know what spring rates your running?

    • @vollcare4076

      Also the standard V3 springs at the rear are linear with 120 N/mm

  • @MrDrivingFaster
    @MrDrivingFaster 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good video. What spring rates did you run front and rear? BTW you need a Roll Center Correction kit if you drop the car that low. Blues Clues has it and without it you have a lot more weight transfer when cornering than stock.

  • @stateniland
    @stateniland 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Question. I had KW 3's installed in my 06 BMW 530Xit wagon.. I noticed on some big dips at highway speed I got a slight bang in the rear.. are the shocks tuned a little too soft?
    I did ask for the car to be lowered but try to keep the most comfortable ride as possible..
    Thanks!

    Does anyone know what the black ring that sits on top of the tower is? 5:56 shows it pretty well. It appears to be a reinforcement of sorts, but I don't recall seeing that before.

    nice setup. i wanted kw v2 or v3 for my 135i but only could afford Bilstein b14s. still night and day from my lowering springs i had. have you considered spacers? 5 or 10 mm maybe. little more flush may or may not make it just a little more cherry.

    Ground Control or Dinan Camber plates? I cant decide which to pick for my m235i

    • @magikmastr
      @magikmastr 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did the ground controls on my m240i. Loved it for track. If you’re not tracking don’t bother. I do get some clickity-clacks after install but worth the camber

    • @seollenda
      @seollenda 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@magikmastr I’m probably only gonna throw 245s up front, and I don’t track really, just use for spirited driving and whatnot- so I’d be good with dinans?

    • @magikmastr
      @magikmastr 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seollenda the F22 options all have a pretty bad rep for the noise they introduce. If I wasn’t tracking my car, the trade off wouldn’t be worth it IMO. After a few track days with the stock camber, it was a no brainer a after seeing the outer edge tire wear from hard corners. I personally wouldn’t get that type of tire wear with spirited road driving. And this wouldn’t recommend them as an option. Just me. I’ve heard great things about both Ground Control and Dinan’s solutions although.

    • @seollenda
      @seollenda 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@magikmastr problem is, I can’t really put on bigger front tires without more camber.
      I’m going off the APEX F22 fitment guide and went back and forth with a rep. He tells me I need the plates if I want to run something like a 245 up front, regardless if I’m tracking it or not.

    • @magikmastr
      @magikmastr 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seollenda that’s true. I have apex wheels and am running 225’s. I bought them before my plates, now having camber I could easily get a 245 in there if I wanted.
