    Quality tutorial as always :) Great job!
    In Germany taking care of the brake cooling on these is becoming quite popular, the rear inner side of the disc tends to heat up a lot! The blue brakes end up green after some track punishment. you might wanna look into that!

    Nice video! Great production and instructional value.
    Just wanted to point out that the sealed radial bearing upper perches we provide will isolate spring rotation during compression. So the thrust washers in each spring in your stack-up might be redundant? But it can't hurt. Cheers!

  • @goc_yt

    I want to do the same for my KW V3 on my F20, because default springs are way too soft for me. I was chatting with KW and they recommend to not to go more then 20N/mm more then default spring rate of 2041 because the damper will lose its harmonizing properties. And here I see that you went from 4kg to 8kg of spring rate which is around 40N/mm more then default. How does the car feels on agressive ride, did you lose your rebound adjustment or did you notice any other side effect maybe?

    So the kw was only a problem with the tire change you made? I wanted an upgraded coilovers and was looking at the v2 with edc and didn’t plan to change tire setup. Will I have same problem

    I recently installed KW DDC on my 2022 Zupra. It rubbs like crazy especially in the sharp corners. I was told by KW that I will damage the dampers if to try replacing those stock progressive springs. They suggested switching to Clubsports instead...

    • @FritzRamos
      @FritzRamos  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Technically it would be out of warrant, but if you kept your old springs for the warranty pictures...
      As far as it getting damaged. If you calculate the stroke range of the damper and operate within that window you should be fine. In this case I am at the lowest KW recommended height with stiffer springs so it's within the normal tolerance
      The way it was explained to me by Sift and the team at SV BImmer is: it would be more accurate to say that they have not been tested with these springs and if you operate it out of the recommended stroke range then that can cause damage.
      However, mine are fins so far. If you want you can email info@svbimmer.com and explain your situation and also let them know I recommended you.
      Hope that helps

      @@FritzRamos I saw your video with the KW DDC , I decide to get them . mistake !!! too extremally soft and the ride height to low . at the same time I did get 245/40/18 square (robbing everywhere at the max ride height . after several upsetting conversation with KW support I did install Dinan spring with a little camber no robbing . frustrated with KW !!!! . had similar idea to add spring and helper and with your video really clear the problem with the ride height ( I might go with different spring rate 6 or 7 K) Thank you for the videos !!!

    Hi, My KW V3 Springs have fatigued on my F22. Do you have the link to where you got your swift spring setup? Thanks!

    • @FritzRamos
      @FritzRamos  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      email: info@svbimmer.com and if you want the exact same setup it's the vorshlag camber plates with the 60mm perches, 7in 8kg springs (for the front), 8in 14kg springs for the rear, as well as 2 sets or helper springs.
      Swift Part numbers are:
      Z60-178-080
      Z60-203-140
